Affordable luxury--right on the beach! Comfortable sleeping arrangements, plenty of seating, beach front dining area, full kitchen, two baths, washer and dryer but most importantly - YOUR PRIVATE BEACH FRONT BALCONY! The moment you step in the condo, an incredible view of the sugar white beach will greet you. The Gulf Dunes property is definitely one of the Okaloosa Island's favorite destinations. Featuring 2 beach front pools, tennis courts, exercise room, BBQ grills, and elevators PLUS a huge beach front so you never feel crowded at the beach. Close to shopping, dining and fun activities for the whole family. An awesome romantic vacation or a memorable family vacation on the beach, there's lots of activities for everyone to enjoy!! And for your convenience, we have BEACH SERVICE! This saves you up to $30 each day from having to rent chairs and an umbrella daily. Beach Service includes a free umbrella & 2 lounge chairs set-up right on the beach waiting you to enjoy every morning.

Gulf Dunes 505 Amazing Views

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Always a great experience with Brooks and Shorey! We had a great week! The unit wasn’t bad but needs a deep cleaning in the off season. The balcony tile floor and furniture need a deep clean as well. The owners need to look at the kitchen cookware and dishes. We were very disappointed as we had to purchase cookware to use while we were there as what few pieces we found aren’t in any condition to use. Just need to stock kitchen with basic cooking equipment. Overall the unit is pleasant and the views are amazing.

We would come back for sure

For a family who likes to spend a lot of time at the beach, the location of this room was perfect. We liked to go back to the room for lunch and it was so easy to get to. The condo was clean and having the washer dryer combo was great.

Dissapointed

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 3rd or 4th time staying at a Brooks and Shorey property. We have been pleased with their professionalism. I was dissapointed this stay, because even though the unit was nicely decorated and in a great location, it was not as clean as we expected. Upon entering the unit we encountered a very unpleasant musty odor that remained the entire time of our stay. It was less noticeable when the air conditioner was turned to a cooler temperature but never completely gone. Not sure what the source of the smell was-rug, vents, couch, etc. The latch going out on the balcony would just fall off when locking/unlocking the balcony door. We could put it back on, but it needed to be replaced. The balcony looked like it had not been cleaned since winter with the door facings needing to be wiped down to get rid of black accumulated during the winter. The floor of the balcony had residue left over from winter. The deck just needed a thorough cleaning. Also, one of the deck chairs had a slat missing. I'm sure the owners would like these items attended to by the management company. I personally am not interested in renting Unit 505 again because of the above stated issues, but we would rent again from Brooks and Shorey and are planning to return in September to a different property also maintained by them. In fairness to Brooks and Shorey, we did not complain about the issues we encountered, but it is doubtful they would have been able to address them during our stay since it wpuld have required time.
