Fantástico apartamento de 1 quarto em uma rua tranquila em Kew. Esta é uma propriedade de um quarto vitoriana no centro de Kew Gardens completamente modernizado em 2013 para o mais alto padrão.
Ele é cheio de características originais, com lareiras de mármore antigo, tanto a sala de estar eo quarto. A moderna cozinha / sala de pequeno-almoço tem superfícies de trabalho de granito e portas francesas que se abrem para uma pequena área exterior privada. O walk-in quarto molhado é pavimentado em pedra italiana e tem aquecimento.

The property was more than acceptable as our living quarters during our one week stay. We especially appreciated it's convenient location to restaurants and, above all, to the tube. It's in a picturesque town and our hosts were most cooperative and helpful to us while we were there. They were also fun to talk to. Can safely recommend the property to future travelers.
My wife and I stayed in the apartment for 4 nights in mid September. It could not have worked out better. The apartment was comfortable, clean and well laid out. Communicating with Chris was easy. We immediately felt at home and part of the community. We were looking for a place that had easy access to London and Richmond, but was also little removed from the crowds and tourist spots. The Kew apartment location checks all of these boxes. The tube station is about a 4 minute walk. The bus stop is just a few steps from the front door. Cafe's, pubs, restaurants and shops are all easily accessible by foot. Despite all of these amenities, the road does not feel busy and it is not loud. I'm an Expat. Staying in the apartment actually felt like living in the UK again. We did not feel like visitors. We will definitely return.
We had no need to rent a car at Heathrow. The subway got us to the Kew Gardens station effortlessly with only one change from the Piccadilly line to the District line. Transportation throughout the trip was easy and regular (less than 10 mins for the train or bus). We got a car to Gatwick for about 47.00 pounds. If you've not been to London before, get an Oyster Card for buses, trains and water taxis. They make life easy and save a fortune.

We recently spent four nights in this charming flat. Christopher is a perfect host/landlord.
The photos here are truly representative of the place: lovely living room, comfortable bedroom, great shower in the bathroom, good-sized eat-in kitchen. Somehow we never used the little outdoor sitting area. The flat is on a quiet street in a pleasant neighborhood, with easy proximity to the Kew Gardens tube stop and also to buses. We took advantage of the location to explore sights in the area: one day we took the bus to Ham House in Richmond and then returned by walking on the Thames Path; one day we walked to Kew Gardens, then visited that National Archive for some genealogical investigation; and the final day we took a bus to Hampton Court and spent the day there.
We bought groceries from the Tesco Express near the tube station; we also shopped for some food items at Squire's, a wonderful small market nearer the flat. One night we picked up fresh carrots from Squire's, which we cooked up to accompany fish & chips we brought home from a nearby shop. We also ate at the pub at the Kew Gardens Hotel, just down the street; at Rara, the Nepalese restaurant across the street; and at the Greyhound, a pub near Kew Green--which was about a half-mile walk away.
There were fresh flowers awaiting our arrival, in both living room and kitchen--a very nice touch. Tea, sugar, salt and pepper, paper goods, and laundry and dish soaps were in stock in the cupboards. We made good use of other amenities, such as the washer/dryer, ironing board, and hairdryer--and of course the wifi. Chris was on hand to answer questions via email or text, and stopped by once or twice to check in with us.
We highly recommend this flat to anyone looking to be in a quiet neighborhood outside the bustle of central London. It was fun pretending we were residents of this neighborhood for part of a week! We would definitely choose to stay there again.
This apartment is superb – simply top class. I’ve stayed in many apartments in the West London area and I’ll be coming back to this one on my next trip. It feels like it is my own home – the atmosphere is very relaxing and you can half-forget that you don’t own it! So comfortable, great furnishings, everything in the right place. The front garden is beautiful to look out on through the living room windows. It’s quiet too – being on the ground floor it is rather insulated from the sounds of the city. Calm, peaceful and simply wonderful. The booking process with Christopher was smooth and easy, and accessing the apartment for the first time (keys etc) was very straightforward. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and I will be back for sure! Thanks again Chris!
I stayed for two nights in this apartment- everything was as described. The owner was friendly and accomodating, the apartment itself very comfortable. No hesitation in recommending it.
