Localizado perto da marina e com vista para o Pub Boathouse uma das duas piscinas na propriedade com uma vista do canal Key Vaca. deck elevado agradável para apreciar a sua bebida favorita ou ler um livro. piso frio e chuveiro / banheira, bancadas de granito, aparelhos recém-atualizados, TVs de tela plana. Máquinas de lavar e secadora localizado no prédio ao lado e apenas compartilhado por você e minha unidade ao lado. Eu tenho um barco deslizamento 30 ft para aluguer aos meus 3 unidades (sujeito a disponibilidade $ 3 por ft / nt) Bicicletas, caiaques e pedalinhos podem ser alugados a partir do Pub Boathouse no nosso Marina. The property had everything we wanted or needed. We took advantage of the pool, bikes and kayaks. Location was great for walking too. One of our best vacations; we can't wait to come back!!
First the good stuff. The condo was very nice. Granite counter tops nice bed, very clean. The front desk staff was very helpful. The resort itself was well kept and very nice. But...
The resort is a long way from anything. There is a Starbucks about a mile away and farther an IHOP and McDonalds and no local type restaurants. The bar onsite is nice but no food and only serves wine and beer. Also its along way to Duval street even by bike. Granted we are in our sixties and not in great shape but after one round trip bike ride we ended up using cab service for $40 round trip. The onsite laundry was nice but was being used by others-not just the two condo units. While the condo was well stocked but there were no paper towels or dishwasher soap. The last few days of our stay our daughter and husband came down and we had to use the sleeper sofa. I know that sleeper sofas are never as comfortable as a bed but this one you could hardly sleep on and needs to be replaced quickly. Lastly the big one- My wife and I as well as the people in the other condo liked to sit on the front porch of the condo. But here are some small nat type bugs which ended up biting you on any exposed skin. After just a few days our feet, lower legs and arms were totally full of bites which itched terribly. Both condo tenants had to make a visit to the pharmacy to get Benadryl cream or else all you did was scratch day and night. As of today 1/25 (we left on the 18th) I'm still all bit up and still using the Benadryl cream although it is slowly getting better.
Finally I'd be a little careful here. I get the sense that Steve (the old owner who I think lived in the resort) was on top of everything related to the condo. My sense is that the new owner has a lot of irons in the fire and may not be so attentive so watch reviews for the next few months
I booked this not knowing it was for sale. Our trip timing came at the same time of their closing date. I didn't get information on the exact address so had to contact previous owner. He got back to me just before we landed in KW. Just a bit stressful! When we arrived we did the grocery shopping before gong to the town home. We had no idea what the townhome had or didn't have, so bought too much stuff. Then we found out we didn't buy enough. Had to buy our own toilet paper and paper towels. Found out where the supplies were on day 5 of 7. No communication from the new owner, no follow up to our arrival. Coconut Mallory doesn't manage this rental, so can't really help. The manager had at least an idea of where the keys to the home were. Never got to use the bikes, we didn't get the combination. The bed was very comfortable, the living room furniture sucked. The couch wasn't one you hung out on for very long. We had a storm and a cold front come through for 2 days, so didn't have much choice. There were boardgames to play, and cable tv to watch. The pools were cold, but felt good when it was hot. I finally found out (on day 4) where the washing machine shed was, which was where I located the cupboards with the extra toilet paper and paper towels the day after. Overall it was a great location, helpful staff-when they could help, 2 minutes from the airport, nice bar/marina...easy to get to and located in an area that was centrally located to everything. Riding the bikes in the mornings to catch the sunrise on the warf would have been great- UGH!
The coffee pot takes regular coffee filters, but there are plenty in the cupboard. No need to buy laundry soap, plenty of left overs on the washing machine-which is a front load high efficiency. Might have to buy more dishwasher detergent, it was almost out. Spices were in the spice rack, but there wasn't any oil. No aluminum foil or baggies, gotta buy your own. The property was clean and there was a vacuum if needed for touch ups.
If you are seeking a nice and quiet vacation home on Key West for a fair price you can find it here. We have enjoyed our stay in this nice and friendly resort. Everything went really smoothly and Steve has provided us all the informations needed and was always available for questions. It was our third stay on Key West and for us this was the best vacation accommodation we had.
A wonderful experience in Key West. The Townhouse is beautiful, very well equipped and maintained. The property and pool is very clean and inviting. We had a great experience and would gladly return. This unit is outside the tourist section, but the bikes made for easy access to everything. We rode to Duval street and walked the circuit of the island three times. Everything about this vacation was top notch and I highly recommend it to anyone who has Key West on their bucket list. Starbucks is about 1 mile away in the lobby of a hotel, it made for a great walk every morning. db
