Dry Creek Farms is everything you’d expect in a wine country retreat and much, much more. From the moment we drove through the gated property, passing vineyards, to the house on a knoll, we knew we had found our ultimate vacation home. The location is ideal as you are close enough to downtown Healdsburg but you feel a million miles away (We even got an Uber pick up/drop one night). The remodeled house is quite lovely and inviting from the second you walk through the red front door. There is a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of lounging spaces (dining area, living room, media room and sun porch). The bathrooms are spacious and clean. Each bedroom is quite generous in size and two have amazing views. But let’s be honest, it’s the outside, jaw-dropping view that will captivate your soul. The living room and kitchen face a spacious lawn, pool, hot tub, and pergola area that have incredible views of the valley below. There is no need for TV when the best entertainment is to sit outside on the patio furniture, drink wine, take in the vista and talk with friends. The location is quiet and VERY private. You can turn on the outdoor speakers and play your favorite music (connect to your iPhones). Every evening, when the sun set, we enjoyed a couple bottles of wine with a cheese plate while listening to jazz. We had plans to go into Healdsburg for dinners but ended up staying on property almost every night. The weather was spectacular. We cooked in the kitchen and ate outside. There is even a little herb garden on the side of the house for fresh tomatoes, rosemary, etc. And once darkness set in, we turned off all the lights and enjoyed the stars. I must add that every morning we went for a run on property and through the adjoining vineyards. We thought about doing Yoga on the lawn but we were too lazy.
The owner of the property, Sally, is such a kind person. She was more than accommodating in helping us plan this trip. She even made recommendations for activities, winery visits, and restaurants. You can tell customer service is her top priority as she loves the area and wants all of her guest to have the best vacation. Although Sally was at our beck and call, we were pretty self-sufficient as we had no issues with the house.
We were here for a girls weekend. But something tells me we’ll all be back with family and/or friends to create more memories.
We have stayed in the Napa/Sonoma area many times but always in a B&B or hotel. This time we chose to stay in a home. We will never stay in a hotel again! This house was beautiful! The location was phenomenal! We overlooked a gorgeous vineyard on a quiet street. The home owner was a joy to deal with and made the whole process easy! Definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants to make their wine country experience that much better!
We had an amazing trip to wine country. The house is all that is advertised! Over 100 wineries within 10 miles of the house. The views from the house are spectacular as you look over the valley from the hilltop the house sits on. Our favorite thing was sitting out at night under a million stars in the hot tub after a full day. Truly a great place that we will def come back to....
This was our second consecutive year spending the first week of September at Sally's beautiful farm, and we're already talking about returning next year. We've vacationed some beautiful places over the years - Tuscany, the South of France, Croatia, but nothing compares to the tranquility, serenity, and beauty of Weed Farm. Oh, and the amenities. Sally is the ultimate hostess and you feel not just welcomed, but wanted throughout your whole stay.
Sitting high up on a hill, you have panoramic views of the Dry Creek Valley, and are less than a 10 minute drive from what we counted as about 30 individual vineyards - serving Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, and even some Italian varietals like Sangiovese and Barbera.
My immediate and a bit of extended family enjoyed a great visit. House is as well stocked as any rental home/condo we have stayed in. The setting is perfect. The house sits up and overlooks Dry Creek to the north with nothing but views of the vineyards. While you feel very remote in the best of ways you are only 15 minutes from Healdsburg. We cannot say enough nice things about Sally and her property. Will be back again.
We stayed at Dry Creek Farm for a girls' family getaway over the Memorial Day holiday. Prior to our visit, we had all kind of activities planned (winery visits, shopping in Healdsburg...). However, once we got there and really started to relax, we didn't want to go anywhere by car. We hung out by the pool, had long conversations over wine, read books, played games, cooked together, and took long walks along the vineyards. The views are breathtaking. The home itself is large and open, but cozy at the same time. We never felt on top of each other. The beds and linens were very comfortable. It was just what we all needed but didn't realize it until the moment we arrived. We want to go again - and soon!

This is a certified Sonoma County vacation rental in compliance with all local regulations (Sonoma County TOT Certificate #1014N). This property has a four night minimum stay except for June, July and August which have a six night minimum stay and holiday weeks, which vary.
Guests must be registered through the return rental contract, including any day visitors. No additional visitors are allowed on the property and violating this term of the agreement will result in termination of the agreement with no refund.
