Essa cobertura, recentemente remodelado, é alegre e meticulosamente decorados. Suíte Master tem cama king size e abre para va em frente à praia. Um quarto tem cama de casal e os outros 2 camas individuais. Cozinha completa com café bar / balcão e sala de jantar completo. Ampla sala de estar abre para varanda mobilada. Em unidade de lavanderia com lavadora e secadora de tamanho. , DVD, Wi-Fi e seguro 3 TV de tela plana. Família amigável! Não fumar no interior da unidade.
The pictures and the description are accurate - this is an excellent condo right on the beach with gorgeous views of the gulf and Marco island's miles-long beach. This is a top-floor unit of a 10-floor building with a decent restaurant on the bottom floor that is aptly named Sunset Grille.
We stayed in late October and had low-80s weather everyday. We will absolutely book again. This is a great place to relax and unwind.
A few things that travelers should note that, as said above, would not affect our decision to stay. But they should know before going:
1. The lanai is not really all that private. As you can see in the pictures, the adjacent patio can look into most of this unit's patio. Not a huge deal, but a little annoying if you don't feel like chit-chatting with the neighbors, if they're there.
2. The sand is shelly, but manageable. The vast majority of the beach is groomed daily, and is softer sand, but with shells. Most people walk with their shoes on. While it's probably not necessary, it's probably a good idea. It's soft enough that I tanned on a beach towel on this section of the sand each day. There is a ~5ft ridge of straight shells (hard to walk over with bare feet) which separates the softer sand from the wet sand that the tide laps up onto. This wet sand typically has some shells, but I walked barefoot on this section of the beach everyday with no issues. As did many others walking this close to the water.
3. As mentioned by others, 1 of the building's 2 elevators is out of service until at least the end of 2016. After that, if they're renovating 1 elevator, I'd hypothesize they'd do the other since the 1 working elevator seems *vintage*. But honestly it's not a big deal. There was never a long wait for the elevator.
4. The building will charge you $25 as a one-time fee to park for your stay. Parking is literally steps from the front door.
The view from this condo was fantastic. I wish I was still standing on the balcony looking at the ocean.
I would recommend this condo to anyone. It was clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location. The building is secure, the pool/hot tub is large and clean, and the bar/restaurant on the bottom floor had great food and drinks.
Be warned that the beach in this area has a lot of shells, but it is kept raked and very clean every day.
We had a great family vacay at the condo. The elevators are still under construction but everyone coming and going were conscious of each other. The condo was clean. FYI the twin bedroom is small with no dresser and no closet and no TV. The location could not be any better. The beach was clean and quiet. So many beautiful shells every morning and lots of fish and stingrays to watch in the surf. Most mornings and evening dolphin pods would swim by to view from the balcony. There is a Publix very close by to stock up and tons of restaurants within a five minute drive. We ate at DaVinci's, Nacho Mama's, and Aurturo's. All were fantastic.
We had such an amazing time. The property is kept clean. One elevator is down, but that is being fixed. The view is beautiful. The kitchen is fully stocked; although, they could use a new coffee pot, but it works. The full size washer and dryer is a wonderdul feature. We didn't use the beach umbrella, but they have one in the closet along with other things. We did make use of a couple of the beach chairs though. The beach is shelly but well groomed. We would definitely love to stay here again. This has been added to one of our favorite vacation spots.
This will become a yearly staple for our family. The condo on the 10th floor provided amazing views of sunsets, daily beach pictures and even the tremendous power of nature (we experienced a beautiful lightening storm out over the water and watched from inside). The condo was clean and spacious with all the necessary items such as an abundance of towels and linens, as well as cooking material.
There were three very spacious bedrooms which can accommodate six people comfortably. The security of the building was wonderful with access only granted by key and then a second layer of security with a key required to call the elevator. There is a Redbox at a local store providing a great movie night experience after dinner, watching the sunset and having ice cream at a local placed called Bebe's. We rented stand up paddle boards and kayaks from Florida Adventures, which were delivered to the beach access right next door and had a fantastic day on the water. The sea shells, sand dollars and star fish were abundant, but PLEASE don't take them if they are still alive. We watched this happen on multiple occasions...there are so many others to chose from. Other guests at the Apollo were friendly and respectful.
The owners responded to all emails within 12 hours and even extended us a day within 6 hours of our request. The transactions were easy and well worth it. The management company trusted with turning over the keys was simple to deal with and if you arrive late that is not problem; the drop box is available to retrieve the material needed for registration at the Apollo. There is a $25 parking fee, but you do get an assigned spot without the hassle of searching.
I am certainly a fan of this property and have stayed at many locations using VRBO....this is one of the top 3.
We've been several times to Marco Island but this was certainly the best! Although weather was not good and it rained almost everyday (which is common in Florida summer), we spent a lot of time at the unit, mingling and enjoying one another! The unit is well stocked, and it has ample space for a group of 6 people. We will be back soon!
