Our oceanfront townhouse in the Marazul Dive Resort is a two level unit, nestled between emerald hills and turquoise sea. Enjoy lots of privacy and quiet as our house is the very last one in a row of units facing the ocean -- there are no immediate neighbours on one side. You will love the superb panoramic view to the ocean horizon directly in front and relaxing lush greenery looking to the hills south. An ideal spot for those seeking tranquility and nature all-around!

Just a few steps from our front-door is easy access to fantastic swimming, diving, and snorkeling, with a professional dive shop nearby. Some of the most spectacular beaches in Curacao are just minutes away -- renting a car is advisable. Our house is fully furnished and air-conditioned, with all the comfort and amenities needed for a relaxing holiday. Expect tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our place is all about rest and relaxation in an amazing natural setting!

Welcome to our tropical paradise in Curacao! Perched atop a cliff overlooking the sparkling waters of Westpunt bay, we’re one of 20-some houses of Marazul Dive Resort. Nestled between emerald hills and turquoise sea, our home sits about 25 paces away from the water, with easy access to great swimming, snorkeling, and diving from the steps carved into the coral formation cliff right outside our front door. For the scuba diver, our amazing house reef is just 200 feet offshore directly in front of the resort. The water is always calm and crystal clear, with an average temperature of 28 C, making for some unforgettable underwater experiences any time of the year. As the very last house in a row of units facing the sea, we enjoy a lot of privacy -- amazing views to the ocean horizon looking west, and some beautiful mountain scenery to the south. From our upstairs terrace, the vista is completely unobstructed. At times you think you are in Bora-Bora, and the next minute you could be off the coast of Crete. We love the views, the fantastic sea surrounding us, and that faraway-from-it-all feeling. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Our house consists of two identical units, each with a living room/kitchenette and a bathroom on the main floor; upstairs is the bedroom with another bathroom. Mosquito screens on terrace door front door and all windows.The decor is modern and comfortable, including a flat screen cable TV and an iPhone/iPad dock with speakers. For families, you can rent both units with the connecting doors open on the main floor, giving you lots of space with two adjoining living rooms. The village of Westpunt is 35 km from the airport and the main town of Willemstad. Far from the crowds, our part of the island is peaceful and serene with none of the usual trappings of tourism. The surrounding national park is unspoiled wilderness at its best, and being outside of the hurricane belt, the climate is a balmy 31 C year-round. perfect outside; lacking inside

The construction next door is terrible (noisy and dirty). The place was smelly and in need of care upon entry. Trying to air it out, we opened windows and doors just to have construction dirt coat everything. Although this was all true of the inside, the outside was unbeatable! The snorkeling right outside our door was amazing. The view of the sea from the lower and upper level porches was outstanding. The neighboring condo occupants are nice people and the property manager is kind and helpful. Thanks Rene! If you can overlook the interior and plan to be active outdoors, this place could work for you.

Beautiful property, beautiful area.

Condo is in need of many updates and rapairs as well as a really good overall cleaning. Private reef out front was beautiful. Resort grounds were beautiful. Bring bug spray with deet.... Midges and mosquitoes are going to be hanging out with you.

OK property, but needs some TLC to be top-rated

The location is perfect, and accurate for now. They are building another property of rentals directly behind this unit, which will extend to the water. Property manager was responsive and helpful, as the wi-fi was not functional when we arrived. The unit has definitely seen some wear and tear and is no longer the gleaming beauty you see in the photos. The toaster has been replaced with a toaster oven, the coffee pot had to be moved, as the electrical outlet it was closest too shorted out, which also caused the outlet that the microwave was plugged into (across the room) to short out as well. The manager offered to have repairs done during our stay, Not ideal. The TV upstairs could not connect to the wi-fi and the remote had no batteries. The manager offered to supply batteries, but again this should be done prior to the renters arriving. We didn't really care about the TV, but not as advertised. We also never saw an ipad/iphone dock with speakers, as advertised. There were other things that could have been nicer - to achieve the experience that the rating purports. The fan in the kitchen was covered in dust. The bed upstairs had 1 sheet and a coverlet that did not fit the bed. We found an additional sheet. The lighting fixture in the closet had come apart from the wall, but still worked. Veranda door upstairs didnt lock. Would have been a problem if unit next door occupied. Most 5 star rentals offer pantry supplies. We only had minimal spices and water in the frig.

Island Paradise

The resort was gorgeous, beautiful flowers and bushes, and wonderful pool area with great loungers and plenty of sun space as well as shaded area space. The ocean view is wonderful from both lower patio and upper deck. When we arrived, there was a mix up of units but the minute the property owner found out it was corrected. Communication with the property host was excellent from the time of our booking to him checking in on us during our stay. We did not see the property manager during our stay, but we did not have any issues to address either. We did not elect to have cleaning service during our stay so I can’t speak to that. The grounds were kept up neatly during our stay and the pool area was immaculate. Our indoor accommodations: Couch was comfortable as was the bed. Pillows, linens and towels were adequate and we had plenty of towels for shower and pool. There was a lot of storage space with dressers and a closet which was very nice. Outdoor accommodations: we had plenty outdoor chairs for both lower and upper decks, a grill, and laundry racks for wet towels. Very close to our unit was a beautiful sheltered area with wicker couches and chairs to view sunsets or sit and read. We had been to Curacao two previous times but had not been to this area of the island before. There were many new adventures for us in this location. It was a wonderful vacation.
