A one mile long dirt road wends its way through beautiful forest to arrive at Forever Wild on the shore of lovely Lake Titus in the northern region of the Adirondacks. 12 miles south of Malone and 40 miles north of Saranac Lake, this is a virtually traffic-free part of the Adirondacks. The renovated camp (new foundation, walls, hardwood floors, and furniture) has generous front and back decks, four bedrooms, and a third floor loft. With beautiful views to the lake, access is via a 75 foot path to a small dock. Lake Titus is one of the quietest lakes you will find in the Adirondacks. There are 2 mountains on the lake for climbing, and the south end has a swimming beach. Or, you can swim from a raft in front of the dock. The lake has bass for those who enjoy fishing, and the town of Malone offers one of the best golf courses in the north country, a Robert Trent Jones 36 championship hole golf course. Renters must bring their own bed linens and towels, but if this is not feasible, talk with the owner. We provide blankets, pillows, bedspreads, bathmats and kitchen linens.
