We are located on Spruce Knob Mountain, the highest mountain in West Virginia. Our cabin is the perfect location to relax or enjoy all that the great outdoors has to offer. You will enjoy the secluded location while viewing the stars or experiencing the amazing changing colors of the mountain throughout the day and seasons. Don't miss the spectacular views of the Fall Foliage season!

Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway, star gazing, quality time with the family, outdoor adventures, or just to enjoy all that nature has to offer, you will find it at our cabin.

Our minimum stay for holiday weekends is the length of the holiday. (For example Labor Day Weekend would have a three night minimum)

We are within 1 hour of Snowshoe and Canaan ski resorts. We look forward to you enjoying our cabin as much as we do.

Absolutely spectacular!

Immaculate scenic mountain chalet, with spectacular views. We had small family Thanksgiving gathering here, and created lasting memories for 3 generations of family. We were so pleased to find a well equiped kitchen, clean and cozy bedrooms and living area with views that provided a spectacular and everchanging backdrop to our gathering. We enjoyed the firepit and hot tub, appreciated the excellent wifi and laundry, and well maintained property. The property was a little tricky to locate, but Ray's groundskeeper (and Molly!) were looking out for us, and assisted helping with the last bit of the journey. Absolutely will return, and highly reccpmend, but .. shhhh.....!!!

Nothing Better Than Perfect!!!!

From the second we arrived it was amazing. The views were breathtaking. There was absolutely no light pollution and if the stars are your thing I recommend it. The property itself was probably one of the most clean well kept places I have stayed. I took the opportunity to purpose to my now fiance and can honestly say I could not have asked for a better location to do it.

THAT VIEW!!

The views are never as good as they are on pictures - this one was magical! House was clean, well taken care of and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. It is definitely a very rural area but i personally loved that feeling. The huge windows overlooking the rolling hills and fireplace were so cozy. The open floor plan was so nice so when cooking everyone was still all together.

UNBELIEVEABLE mountain views

We arrived, to the cabin, on top of a mountain, could not get out of our car…we sat in awe of the UNBELIEVEABLE view before us. Others raved about the view…truly a sight to take in, the majestic mountains. Cabin was neat clean comfortable and had everything we could need during our stay… highly recommend.. except… the main floor bed.. ( I was too lazy to sleep upstairs) … lumpy, rolled into the middle no matter how much I hugged the sides of the bed to stay put.. I ended up sleeping on the couch 3 out of 4 nights. But if you want to get away for quiet, privacy, Mountain Views, hiking/exploring and quaint towns.. this cabin is your diamond!!!!

Everything we wanted and more

This was our third time staying here and every time we are just amazed at how stunning it is! The house is always clean and cozy, the communication is top notch, you have all the privacy you need and the view could not be any better! Plus Its super close to Spruce Knob and Seneca Rocks. We 100% Recommend staying here!
