This quaint ski-inspired cabin is a part of Aspen Creek in Mammoth Lakes. This is a great location for ski and snowboard enthusiasts. Eagle Lodge and the Eagle Express Chairlift are within walking distance. Vacationers in the summer have a variety of activities close by too. Restaurants or shopping in Mammoth Village, the Snowcreek Golf Course, and numerous hiking or biking paths are just a quick car ride away.

The living room is furnished with plush seating gathered around a gorgeous fireplace and TV with DVD player. Light the fire with the provided wood and turn on a movie. High speed internet will make you feel right at home. The couch also functions as a sofa sleeper. You also have access to the balcony to indulge in the partial mountain views and breathe in the fresh air.

The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances to help with meal prepping. A built-in breakfast bar for 2 is attached for guests to keep the conversation going with the chef. Behind the breakfast bar is the formal dining table with seating for 6.

The master bedroom is furnished with a large King-sized bed, flat screen TV, and an attached private bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Close off the door for privacy at the vanity. The second bedroom has 2 Queen-sized beds and a flat screen TV. This room also has an attached private bathroom and vanity.

Underground parking is available for 1 car (garage height 7'1"). Laundry facilities and elevators are in each building. The shared condo BBQ stations, picnic areas, and a swimming pool only open during the summer. The 3 hot tubs are open year round. Some of the condo amenities like the hot tub will not be available due to COVID.

**We highly suggest purchasing Travel Insurance during the winter season when weather and road conditions can be unpredictable. Please check the Division of Traffic websites and travel at your own risk. Without the purchase of Travel Insurance, your Vacation Home Rental Reservation cannot be canceled due to poor weather conditions.**

Very old, from kitchen dishes, glasses, frayed towels and old linens.. dirty, old carpeting...

Arrived and checked in 20 minutes after the allowed time. The heater didn’t work( needed as this was a mountain location) bathroom light not working.. called the number given for problems right away..left msg.. no response until the next day... thankfully we found a space heater to use.. still no bathroom light.. the next day 2 different people tried to fix the light.. not able to, said they would send an electrician.. but meantime they put a tall floor lamp in the bathroom, with the cord crossing the doorway, REALLY.. a total tripping hazard.. and stated that they were glad we found the space heater.. really... not until the 3rd day did an electrician come and finally fix the light, but a very sloppy job, he didn’t replace the cover on the light and left it hanging.. (I have pictures) we couldn’t reach it to put it back on... the community jacuzzi area worked, but had nowhere to hang towels or clothes , no plastic chairs or anything to use to place things on, just the concrete.. no on site office help in the condo complex.. also would be helpful if the unit left instructions on the use of the TV remotes .. we have always been happy with our VRBO rentals in the past, but not this time

Cozy, Comfortable, but needs a little TLC

Would I stay here again? Yes! It's walking distance to Eagle Lodge. Walk to the lifts, do a few runs, walk back for lunch and walk back for more fun! The condo is very warm, cozy and comfortable, but needs a little TLC. Would start with remodeling the bathrooms (e.g. remove the carpet in the shower/toilet area). Then update the furniture. Other than that, there's plenty of space to relax and enjoy your time. Would give this place 4-Stars, but took away 1-star due to the parking situation. There is only one allotted parking spot for this unit and in it's located in a tight little corner (large SUV's will struggle). Just watch that Austin Powers 3-point turn scene and you'll know what I mean. As for the Grand Welcome staff, they were amazing! Big "Thanks" to the lady that helped us check-in (evening of Feb. 7). Very helpful, accommodating and sweet. She even help us with the parking situation after she was off the clock.

Cozy home

The accommodations were very nice. The house was cozy and homey and a short walk to eagle express! Only issue was with the parking situation. The spot assigned to us was right against the wall and not very accessible for our truck. After talking to the property manager, he told us we would have to park outside which when we did we got a parking violation (even with our parking pass displayed). The place was great but the parking situation was not unless you have a compact vehicle

Dated and rather basic

The condo is rather dated and very full of furniture and knick knacks. It is ok as a base for skiing, if you want to spend the minimum on accommodation, but don’t plan on spending time indoors. We were there for two nights and would not have wanted to stay any longer. The location was great though.
