Would Not Rent Again
We stayed at this house for a week at Easter and were surprised when we arrived to find it is up for sale. We were asked twice during our stay to accommodate showings, which we agreed to. The gazebo canopy was missing, and water and some lights at the dock didn't work. We called Eddy about the issues but they were never rectified, we were told the canopy ripped recently and were not offered any other options. The house is in need of a deep cleaning, has limited cookware stocked in the kitchen, the garbage disposal has a very large leak, and only six bath towels available.
We also had problems with receiving contracts and our security deposit timely. After we sent in our full payment plus security deposit, we needed to call Eddy to send the contract and were informed that our paperwork wasn't processed correctly. Two weeks before our trip Eddy requested we send him a copy of the signed check because he couldn't determine what he did with it. We were not refunded our security deposit within two weeks as indicated in the contract and again had to call Eddy. We finally received it after an additional two weeks.
We considered extending our stay an additional night until Eddy wanted the full price deposited to his bank by the next day, no consideration was given to the issues he did not address or us agreeing to allow showings during our stay. I would definitely not rent this house again
