Pros: great location and beautiful views. Apt is very dated but has everything you need.

This apt is in a very nice complex, is close to the pool, the beach and a good restaurant. Apt is very dated and needs some small repairs (as others have noted, the blinds in the bedroom will fall off the mount if you are not careful). Kitchen light was out and was not repaired during our stay. Sliding screen door sticks and comes off the track. But everything you need is there--just well aged and worn. Can't beat the location and view though.Sapphire Beach is gorgeous!

Great Location

Super location. Living area comfortable as is bed. Chuck responds quickly to questions. Directions to open unit were confusing, but neighbors helped. Gorgeous view. Need a little more attention to getting lighting in kitchen fixed & stove top burners are all at an angle which makes it a little challenging to cook on! Fantastic water pressure in the shower!!

Great locatio

We spent 8 nights at Sapphire Village Condo. We loved the location. It was close to the Red Hook Ferry, grocery stores, and many bars and restaurants. We loved having a beach a short walk from our condo and the pool and on site restaurant were great as well. There were on site laundry facilities as well.

The only place we were able to get the internet to work was by the condo association office. There is not reliable internet in the actual condo.

The view from the condo was spectacular and we loved being able to open the balcony door and let the breeze blow in and smell the sea air. It beat using the A/C. We only used the A/C at night in the bedroom and it did a great job keeping us cool while we slept.

This is not a 5 star updated unit. The decor is outdated and there are many things in need of repair, but it was functional. We mainly used the unit for cooking and sleeping and spent the rest of our time outdoors. If you want luxury you might consider booking another unit.We wanted to be able to spend our budget on fun outdoor activities vs lodging. It was a good bargain.

We felt very safe while staying here and will definitely look to book this unit again when we return to St Thomas.

Resposta do proprietário: This is a very accurate review. I am trying to cater to people who want a place to stay at a reasonable cost. Although I am in the process of updating many things, I will never be the most luxurious unit on the property. For that same reason my rates will reflect that.

Great location but run down place

Beautiful location and good price but the condo was Really run down and not very clean. The cable didn't work but the owner did get that fixed. Then the kitchen light went out and after talking with the owner and troubleshooting the problem with him we even went out and got new bulbs for it but that didn't work. The owner said he put in an order to get it fixed but nothing ever happened and we still had 6 more days there. It could be a nice place if the furniture was at least cleaned or replaced, more lights added and the tub replaced as it has a 2 inch rust spot that when the water is turned on rusty water spreads around the tub bottom so using the shower wasn't a great experience. The louvered doors looked as though they had never been cleaned either. So if you can get past all the problems inside the condo and focus on the beautiful view and wonderful location it is a good place. Location is ideal and for me I'd return to sapphire beach condos but rent an updated clean place for a little bit more money.

Resposta do proprietário: Before this tenant went down, I spent over two hours on the phone with her going over every possible detail and giving her any recommendation and help that I could. I mentioned that I was going to replace some furniture, but the for the price overall, it was a good deal. At the time she agreed, but then said the opposite in her review after she broke a light and it wasn't "fixed"( it was never broken in the first place ). When she got there, at 8 o'clock on a Sunday night, I was able to secure an early morning appointment on Tuesday to get the satellite fixed, which, by the way was an external problem of dish networks not mine. She responded that she couldn't be bothered waiting for The technician, but at the same time did not want anyone in the unit when she wasn't there. I had to coordinate on the phone with him at seven in the morning my time to get him in and take care of the situation. As she said, the light was working when she got there, and was fixed by my cleaning lady by twisting the bulb back into position when she left. Every night, after 9 o'clock at night, she would text me with some sort of problem, and not unlike the light was exaggerated. The light in question was over the sink and she insisted it be fixed so she could read by it. As far as cleanliness goes, my cleaning lady works for half the people in Sapphire village and routinely gets good reviews including here. The tenant who stayed directly after her just gave me five stars. This is a very high maintenance person, and any owners out there do not rent to her.
