The view and beach side setting can't be beat. The pool is wonderful and both the condo and the complex are kept stocked and up to date. This place will be even better when it's short bike path fully connects with the other 5 miles of path that is one of the most spectacular bike paths I've ever seen as it runs right up the coast line.
Althouth it's not wlkable to town this actually provides for a more quiet, serene setting.

It exceded my expectations!
We just returned from our second stay in this condo and can't wait to go back! The property updates that have been made since our first visit are beautiful, and the condo was even more relaxing and comfortable than I remembered.
One of our favorite things about staying here is the location. The ocean is just steps away, making for a beautiful view and wonderful ocean breezes. We explored even more of the nearby walking path than we had before, making our way to the nearby beautiful stretch of beach to the south which we almost always had to ourselves. We also appreciate the short walk on the path to Lydgate Beach where we swam and snorkeled every morning.
We love how centrally located the property is on the east side of the island, so close to both some of our favorite snorkeling in Poipu, as well as our favorite beaches at Hanalei and Anini in the north. Kayaking on the Wailua River is just minutes away with great hiking in that area too.
We also explored some new restaurants this time and three of our new favorites nearby in Kapaa are Kauai Pasta, the Olympic Cafe and Bubba's Burgers.
We also spent more time at the pool this time around which is one of my new favorite things about the property. The pool area is beautiful and the water temperature perfect.
As far as amenities, the newly remodeled kitchen is beautiful and well-stocked. The beds are so comfortable, such soft sheets and pillows. The laundry area was never crowded and the cheerful office staff were so helpful. We love the new lounge chairs on the balcony too.
Thank you so much Joan for providing this much needed relaxation and rejuvenation spot for us once again. We'll definitely be back!
We came for a family vacation with our 3 teenage sons. The condo was clean, plenty of clean linens, lots of bright windows looking at ocean waves. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were good. The moist air tends to rust things and make glass moist, but all this cannot be helped in this location by the sea. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, silverware and glasses, cookware and utensils, though, as a cook, they could use a few more cookware items such as baking sheets, oven mitts, and more/better grilling tools. The knives were good and sharp. When you shop for food, be sure to buy paper towels and check to see if there is foil, baggies, plastic wrap, as the condo is really limited on these items. Also, there is no ice chest, but there's an ice pack in the freezer. The grill is for the whole complex to use and was SO clean we were afraid to dirty it. It is located across the parking lot from the unit, presumably to keep smoke from going into the condos. There was another one in the pool area. The bedrooms are in the back of the unit and so you will hear the chickens and especially the roosters at 4am! They are all over Kauai and cannot be helped. Think of them as part of Kauai's charm and you'll go back to sleep. There is not a washer/dryer in the unit, but a laundry room for the complex, though we only did one load of laundry as we were most the time in swim suits and everything dries quickly on the lanai. The location of the condo is very central, close to Lihue with the airport and big box shopping (including Costco, Walmart & Macy's), and close to Kapa'a with restaurants and small, quaint shops. The beach below the condo is a camping beach, and if you walk along the beach in either direction, you'll see campers. The beach is great for building sand castles and playing in the plentiful, body-surfable waves. Our family spent lots of time down there body-surfing when we didn't want to drive anywhere. Great hiking a close drive away. Each condo has a water tap by its stairway to clean feet (great!). We had a great time staying at this condo and recommend it. After a drive to the north shore which is really jungly and lush, it made us think about trying that part of the island next time,but it is very far from the rest of the island and the road construction is kind of a pain that I really still liked this "Lydgate" location (which is the name of the beach park near where the condo is located.
I want to thank you for a wonderful stay at your condo. The location is amazing, the view spectacular and don't worry about having no air conditioning. You don't need it! My only complaint is that due to the proximity to the ocean, there were some rust issues. When we went to pull the drapes back the rod fell of due to rust. The lever in the guest bathroom also had the same issue. I wouldn't let that stop you from staying here! It is one of the best places I saw to stay in Kauai! The location is central for both the north and the south, and there are some amazing hiking trails within a mile from the condo! If you have a family, this is the place to stay!
My wife and I with our two teenage boys spent a delightful week at this condo. The view of the ocean and sunrise was spectacular. The facilities were well tended. The condo well furnished. The two bedrooms/two bathrooms worked well for us. The pool came in handy although swimming and snorkeling was within easy walking distance. It would be easy to stay at the condo without ever leaving the area.
If you want to explore the island, the condo location is excellent. Access to the main highway is easy, the airport within a 10-15 minute drive, and grocery stores were within a short drive as well. Most importantly, as this was our first trip to the island, the condo's central location made it easy for us to go explore the west shore one day and then the east or north shore the next.
I would not hesitate to stay here again.
The condo location was exceptional - minutes from the airport, centrally located to the east and west coasts of the island, and most importantly, very near the beach. We enjoyed the walking path accessible from right behind the condo. Sunrises from the deck were very impressive.
The condo complex was clean and well tended. The pool was very nice, and the only thing missing was a hot tub. The condo itself was also clean and very comfortable. It was nice to have a kitchen. We saved money by eating in. The beds were comfortable, and the two bathrooms came in very handy with four of us. We had a great time and would recommend the condo to families or couples.

A meio caminho entre as áreas turísticas de Poipu e Princeville, Kapa'a é uma cidade com um sabor local havaiano menos influenciada pelo turismo. Casual comer nas proximidades, ou comer em - usando a churrasqueira a gás a poucos passos fora da porta da frente.
Outras atividades: Aprenda a mergulhar apenas a cinco minutos a pé até a praia de Lydgate State Park, onde um salva-vidas está de plantão. Grande criança lagoa lá também e estrutura fantástica de recreação para crianças! Também desfrutar de um passeio na praia, caiaque, caminhadas, ciclismo, passeios de BTT, spas, passeios a cavalo e tirolesa.
Golf: Campo de golfe à beira-mar ao lado tem belas vistas, curso desafiador e taxas modestas. Taxas reduzidas após 2p. m. Outros cursos na ilha sediar eventos profissionais.
