Two Palms

From the wrath of Hurricane Ida –Two Palms has been restored. The house is beautiful, inviting, comfortable and complete. This was our fourth year at Indian Pass and our second at Two Palms. It was wonderful to be back and the house was even more beautiful than before. We went seeking solitude and a place to rejuvenate ourselves. Two Palms provided. The weather was perfect as always-for January- cool sunny days, starry nights, flaming sunsets, brilliant thunderstorms and howling winds that brought abundant shells to the shores. Two Palms was the perfect shelter to take it all in. The white sand beach is wide and beautiful and we could walk for hours in either direction with our Lab and have it all to ourselves. The kitchen was fully equipped right down to the last detail. The furnishings were new, attractive and comfortable, and the beds, new linens and towels offered the pampered finishing touch. The front porch was our favorite spot providing shelter from sun, wind or rain. The winter sun rises and sets on the porch and we brought an extra blanket just for that purpose. Moving the hot tub to the lower front porch was a brilliant idea and so well thought out, creating another vantage point to enjoy the sunset and the moonrise. Within minutes we could have our kayaks in the water either in Saint Joe’s Bay or the bay at Indian Pass. We were even lucky enough to paddle with the dolphins at sunset. Port St. Joe is 20 minutes west with great grocery shopping at the Piggly Wiggly, a wine shop and restaurants. Our favorite is the Coastal Grill. We picked up groceries on the way in and only had to go into town once for supplies and dinner out. Thirty minutes east will take you in to Apalachicola, an old Florida experience with a rich history, quaint shops and wonderful restaurants. Two Palms is the perfect retreat. The Burns and their staff are friendly and eager to be of assistance and are only a phone call away. But with this fully equipped, beautiful home we didn’t have a need or want for anything. Thank you for another wonderful escape to Indian Pass. See you next year!

Was the perfect place for our vacation

I had stayed in Three Palms last year with kids and grandkids and loved the place. It was in great shape and everything we could think of was provided. My parents (in their 80's) wanted to go to the beach. My siblings and I decided to go and stay in Two Palms and it was perfect for the 8 of us. As before everything we needed was there. My Parents loved it as much as we did. The owners and manager go out of their way to make sure we have what we need. Will we be back for sure.

What a fabulous palce on the Forgotten Coast

Two Palms Villa is everything you could possibly want in a vacation rental on The Gulf of Mexico. What you see in the photos is exactly what you see when you arrive. I can think of no other amenities one could expect to have in a home, right down to the quality knife sharpener Peter has provided. This may sound trivial unless you have stayed in as many vacation rentals as my wife and I have and had hand full of dull knives in the drawers. The lighted boardwalk and drive with motion sensors LED lights was an especially nice touch. Did I mention this home is located away from the hustle and bustle normally associated with life on the Gulf, the beach is practically yours alone yet close to great dining, grocery needs, nature and charter fishing if you so desire. Donna Stuart, the on site manager, makes sure no stone is left unturned when you arrive and will promptly assist you should you run into an issue (we did not). If you only get one shot at going to the beach in your lifetime, put Two Palms Villa on your bucket list. Thanks for everything Peter.

Mamaws Beach Trip

Two-Palms was a wonderful get away for us 3 friends, 2 grandparents and 2 fur babies! The house was even better than the pictures and the Gulf front view was incredible!! Mamaw would get up with her coffee and watch the dolphins swim back & forth along the beach every morning. What a great memory!

Port St Joe was about 10 mins up the scenic road with everything you would need for your visit. The well stocked kitchen made it easy to cook when we just wanted to stay home to enjoy the beach longer. Two Palms is well kept up and has great amenities that allow you to pack less and enjoy more. The less crowded beach was perfect for us to enjoy family time as well as plenty of room to walk and pick up thousands of shells which made it hard to pack up & leave! We would certainly go back to this beautiful beach home away from home!!

Two Palms the Balm you need for your busy life!

We arrived to find the home in great shape! This is the second time we have stayed a month and each sun rise brought more fun and beauty. Peter Burns is a wonderful person to rent a property from. Besides keeping the home in great shape inside and out your happiness is his top priority. Having great staff to care of any needs you may have is an excellent perk. If your looking for perfect sun rises and sun sets this is the place for you. the hot tub is amazing right out facing the ocean. We used the ocean Kayaks and really enjoyed them. The shelling was fun from finding sand dollars to all different shells. The dolphins comings and goings are a treat. The Bald Eagles are amazing and loved bird watching. We never grow tired of the local scenery or shopping at either Apalachicola or St. Joes Port. The art shows, farmers markets and other activities to enjoy. Great restaurants and no traffic to fight like a lot of places we have visited. You won't regret making this your vacation spot you will love it! We travel with our King Charles Cavalier and its one reason we choose this beach because it is dog friendly. The forgotten coast is one that will keep you wanting to return. Happy Vacationing.

great location

we had a great week here at the Two Palms. The house was was stocked with everything we needed and the location cannot be beat. The owner was very invested in our experience as well and called us personally with great local information on restaurants and activities, as well as checking in with us during our stay.
