PRINCIPE TWIN SANTA ANA (Calle del Principe 4, Madrid) is placed on a 4th floor with LIFT in a classic building on same square as FOUR SEASONS HOTEL on the zone of Spanish Parliament, 5 minutes walking to Puerta del Sol and underground, in the centre of the Paseo del Arte, the 'PRINCIPE TWIN SANTA ANA' opens out onto the most exuberant city, contemporary theatre and art you can enjoy in the museums near the apartment: the Museo del Prado, the Museo Reina Sofía and the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza. Located on the well known Santa Ana Square, this is the perfect place for those who are willing to stay in the middle of Madrid´s historic and tourist centre. Although the apartment is surrounded by the most centric Metro stations, getting on the metro can be avoided. Within only a few minutes walk you can reach the main Museums (Reina Sofía, Prado, Thyssen), the most visited and emblematic tourist sites such as the Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Palacio Real or the Gran Vía –something like Madrid´s Broadway where you can find lots of theatres and cinemas- and neighbourhoods such as La Latina, famous for their cultural and night life and for the most important outdoor flea market El Rastro.

'PRINCIPE TWIN SANTA ANA' EQUIPMENT

“PRINCIPE TWIN SANTA ANA” has 5 people capacity on a 4th floor without lift. The gorgeous flat (60 square meters) is very bright where every room has a window. The apartment “PRINCIPE TWIN SANTA ANA” is decorated in elegant colours to make the atmosphere more enjoyable. This apartment is exceptionally restful and functional with free wifi internet and air conditioning. The entrance hall leads into a living /dining area with one balcony facing out the street. It is furnished with one 3-seater sofa, a wooden coffee table, a shelving with LCD TV, DVD and a wooden dining table. There are two bedrooms: 1 double (queen-sized bed 1.60m x 1.90m) and 1 single (2 single bunk beds 0.90m x 1.90m). The living room has a sofa-bed up for 1 people. There is a bathroom with walk-in shower. The kitchen modern and functional is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, oven, 2-ring ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine and a breakfast bar with two stools. As small household-electric we can emphasize vacuum cleaner, iron, cooker, water boiler, coffee machine, toaster, teapot, glasswork and set of dishes.

HOW TO ARRIVE TO THE “PRINCIPE TWIN SANTA ANA” APARTMENT


1.- FROM THE AIRPORT

TAXI: Cost 30 euros FLAT RATE depending on traffic. 20-40 minute journey

UNDERGROUND: Cost 5 euros per person. Take the line to COLOMBIA, then short connection to line 9 to ARGANDA DEL REY, get off at PRINCIPE DE VERGARA, then take line number 2 to CUATRO CAMINOS. Get out at SEVILLA, and then follow straight on Sevilla Street until you arrive to Canalejas plaza. Then follow straight on and you will find del PRINCIPE street. 40 minute journey.

2. - FROM TRAIN STATION

PUERTA DE ATOCHA TRAIN STATION: Take line number 1 direction Pinar de Chamartín. Get off on SOL, then change to line 2. Get out on SEVILLA stop, and then follow straight on Sevilla Street until you arrive to Canalejas plaza. Then follow straight on and you will find del PRINCIPE street. 10 minute journey.

CHAMARTIN TRAIN STATION: Take line number 1 direction Valdecarros. Get off at SOL, then change to line 2. Get off on SEVILLA stop, and then follow straight on Sevilla Street until you arrive to Canalejas plaza. Then follow straight on and you will find del PRINCIPE street. 20 minute journey.

We will be back!
We thoroughly enjoyed the apartment, its location, and all of the amenities. We loved how easy it was to get around. The rolladens shut out the noise from the street when we were ready to sleep. While we were in the apartment we opened the balcony doors to enjoy the fresh air. We also appreciated that José arranged transportation to and from the airport. We are very pleased with our stay and will stay here when we come back to Madrid!

My wife snd I were extremely pleased with the accommodations and especially the location it was perfect! Communicate with the property management was excellent. They were also very helpful on what to see and giving us recommendations on where to eat. If life ever takes us back to Madrid we'll definitely stay here again

Wonderful Madrid Stay
Exactly as listed. Wonderful location within walking distance to Palace, museums, restaurants, bars, shops.. exactly what I hoped for. Nice little balcony to watch the action below. AC worked great and nice to have washer/dryer unit. Good water pressure in shower. Kitchen well equipped. Dish washer good. Just me, but can accommodate four people no problem. Would recommend and would stay there again. Thank you.

Beautifully renovated apartment. Crucial features not east to find in Madrid: LIFT! WASHER/DRYER Best location. Easy walk east to museums and west to Royal Palace. Best restaurant we found was 3 doors south: Finca de Susanna.

Great Location
The apt was clean and very comfortable. Jose was a fantastic host. He and the property owner were quick to respond when necessary. Check In/Out was very easy! The location can’t be beat. Very close and convenient to what you need and the restaurants were great! A bit of construction was going on, some building areas were a bit dusty…understandably. I would stay here again!

There are a huge number of things to do in Madrid, but it is often the famous Madrid shopping streets that lure people into renting Madrid accommodation. The fashion boutiques and local craft shops which adorn the central business district mean that shopping holidays in Madrid are never far from the top of the list for shopping destinations. The huge range of styles and cuisine of Madrid restaurants also helps to keep energy levels high, and fantastic cooking courses lasting between a single session and a whole week can easily be arranged. The medieval centre of Madrid hides many fantastic monuments. Those taking a Madrid weekend break are best staying in accommodation close to the historic centre, as there is so much here that you can fit a huge amount into just a short Madrid city break. The ‘big three’ museums in Madrid, the Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia, hold famous collections of art, and tourism in Madrid is often centred around the Puerta del Sol right in the city centre.
