Please note that the biggest different with this home and other 'rentals' is that this home is not equipped like a 'rental' but a home. It's fully equipped with everything you can think of. This gorgeous home was custom built in the early 90's and features hand peeled log columns, antique oriental rugs, Ralph Lauren fabrics, stone floors, slate in the bathrooms, and a feeling of home. The owner was a private chef and so the kitchen is fabulous and has every thing you could possibly need to prepare a wonderful dinner. Bon Appetite magazine even did a story in this kitchen! The main floor has a mud room as you enter for all your ski gear. You step up to the cozy living room and walk through to the dining room and into the chef's kitchen. This is next to the family room. Upstairs there are four bedrooms. The master with a king bed and it's own private bathroom and walk in closet. The view from the tub is of the slopes at Solitude and is the same from the bed. There are three more bedrooms, one with a full bed and a twin bed, a second bedroom that has two double beds and also a small set of bunk beds for kids under age 8. The third bedroom is a self contained studio apartment with it's own kitchen! This works well as a second master bedroom due to the size and the private bathroom. There is another hall bath and a half bath on the first floor. The mapping doesn't work for this house. We are located on the main canyon road just down hill from the Silver Fork lodge and one mile down hill from Solitude ski resort. 15 minutes to the base of Big Cottonwood Canyon and three miles down hill from Brighton ski resort.
