Nice size for a party

We enjoyed the space and location. The kitchen could have used some more basic items like oil, tea, additional baking sheets, and salt and pepper (they were there but very low). Overall we really liked the tv space, the size and openness of the shared spaces, and the nearby views. I would definitely recommend it for get togethers!!

Seattle trip with 12 adults

The house was perfect for our group of 12 friends spending the weekend in Seattle.

It is lovely, clean and well stocked - plenty of room.

The couch downstairs converted into bed & everyone seemed to sleep comfortably.

We loved being close to the downtown area.

Downfall was the large fridge was out of order. However, there was a temporary fridge there for us to use (thank goodness).

The only thing not available that our group would have used; a tv on the main floor would be a nice addition.

I would recommend this house to any group. Awesome!

Beautiful home, but...

So begins the first 2 star rating for this home. :/

As I got to the door, I noticed a door hanger on the knob. Out of curiosity, I decided to read it. It was a notice of disconnect from the energy company. Ouch! So as I'm trying to use the code for the front door (which isn't working), I called the management company for the home. They helped me get the door open and I explained the notice. I proceeded to check the lights and noticed they were on so I got off the phone. It was cold so we turned on the heat and left for groceries.

An hour later we return to a freezing cold home. We try everything we can with the thermostat. Nothing. So we called the management company. They said they were going to send someone to fix it. They ended up sending a rep for the management company instead. Obviously unable to fix the problem, she offered $100 to remedy the situation and she would go to buy space heaters until they could get someone out tomorrow btn 12 and 5 to figure out what was going on, or a full refund and we leave. That struck a bad nerve with everyone. Obviously we couldn't just up and leave at 7pm and find hotels rooms for 7 people and an infant with the same vide as having a home. (And I know a refund takes 3 to 5 business days). So we decided to take the $100 refund and the space heaters. The rep left and came back with 7 space heaters that were about 7 inches tall. She left and we plugged them in. With one in each room and one in the living room (5 in total). That blew the breakers and the lights upstairs all went out and so did the lights in the living room...great. So we search all over for the breakers and begin unplugging the space heaters. After we find the breakers, we decided to only use 4 (one in each room and one in the living room) and keep them on low. Worked for the rooms but didn't do anything for the living room. Also, the bathroom lights upstairs didn't turn on anymore after the breakers flipped. But whatever. So the next morning, I had an epiphany...I realized it. ITS GAS YOU IDIOT!!! So I called the management company and told them it must be the gas bill that was on the door and that the gas was off. So they say ok and that's about it. (I think we realized it but didn't say anything). Low and behold the gas man comes around 4pm. He turns on the gas. Finally, HEAT! :) The next morning I call and ask for an extra day (and forget the $100) for an extra night. That was a no go. I was given until 6pm. Still haven't received the refund.

Great House / Great Property Manager.

House was great. Rooms were clean, house was attractive. Location seemed central, didn't walk around much. Kitchen was nice, lots to cook with. We had an initial problem with a faucet but the property manager and his handy man came right over and fixed the problem.

To recap, the house was great. The property manager was great. I would definitely rent from them again if I ever make it back to Seattle.

Best VRBO we have stayed in to date! Upscale, Clean, Organized, Close to Activities and Beautiful.

This home was newly remodeled, had heated flooring, beautiful amenities and well taken care or by owner along with VRBO. If you plan on staying in down town Seattle, stay in this home and look no further. We (four families) loved our stay and felt at home from the minute we walked in. There was plenty of parking and full bathrooms for everyone. The Kitchen is breath taking and they have board games, tv and soccer in the back yard for entertainment. We plan to return to this house again in the future. Thank you for sharing your amazing home so others can experience a true Seattle home and lifestyle.

On a side note, the listing description was modest with this home, but very accurate. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Renters were fully thought of in the process of the owners setting up. We already have recommended this property to some friends.
