Retiro privado do arquiteto construído em 2008 com piso plano aberto e uma parede de janelas com vista para o lago. A primeira área de estar piso tem piso de bordo e um teto de viga exposta. Sofá de couro e cadeiras na área de estar com novo HD, TV de tela plana LCD, Blu Ray DVD player, serviço de internet sem fio e leitor de CD. A cozinha tem armários de amieiro complicados, bancadas em granito com um fogão a gás, forno microondas, diswasher e todos os aparelhos de aço inoxidável. Cozinha bem equipada com uma lareira a gás Vermont Castings para tirar o frio de noites frias. Primeiro banho de piso tem um chuveiro frio (sem banheira). Uma escada em espiral leva até o loft com teto de catedral, clarabóias e ventilador de teto sobre a cama tamanho queen. Construído em armários de pinho e pinheiro painéis beadboard. TV a cabo com tela plana LED TV com DVD player. Desfrutar do ar livre a partir do pátio bluestone ou o cedro e alumínio doca com escada de natação. Dois caiaques são fornecidos para uso dos hóspedes. Churrasqueira a gás no pátio. Ocupação limitada a duas pessoas em todos os momentos. Estacionamento limitado a um veículo. localização tranquila na costa noroeste em Ferncliff Road.

A True Retreat
This cottage provided the perfect getaway for my husband and me. We were looking to escape from the daily demands of our professional lives to somewhere quiet and clean where we could truly relax - and we did. The property is just as it's described and even better than pictured. We swam, kayaked, rented SUPs, read books and played games, all on our own schedule. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a Vermont lakeside getaway.
The cottage was exactly like the pictures.
Everything was great. Our vacation was very relaxing. The lake was beautiful. The house was perfect. You always get a great view of the lake because of all windows. We had our concerns about the spiral staircase before we got there, but there wasn't a problem at all. The owners built a great place for anyone to stay. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a calm and relaxing vacation!
Beautiful house, great vacation.
My husband and I have rented seasonal homes in the Adirondacks, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine for the past 30 years. This was the nicest home that we've stayed in. The amenities were perfect, you really didn't need to bring anything ( I always bring my own frying pan and sharp knives, but in this case you really didn't need to). There were reccomended restaurants which were great. Lake is beautiful, walking area is superb, people are very friendly.We plan on returning, and we rarely do that.
Beautiful Getaway
We just spent a glorious week at this beautiful cottage. It was all and more than we expected. The cottage was clean, modern and had everything we needed to make us comfortable. With the unique architecture and state of the art appliances, it was luxurious! We loved that we were right on the lake and could swim right off the dock. We relaxed, swam and explored and just enjoyed the great views of the lake and the mountains. We will leave the kayaks and hiking to the younger folks. Perry's Eatery and Taps in Poultney and The Barn in Pawlet were great places to eat. We didn't get to the vineyard down the road for wine tasting but will be sure to do that next year. This cottage is a gem and we're looking forward to our vacation there next year.

My wife and I have just booked this beautiful cottage for the 4th year. We have been going for a week in the early fall each year for the past 3 and always look forward to our time there. We even spent our honeymoon at this cottage.
The cottage is as nice as it looks in the pictures (or even better). Everything that the other reviewer’s state is true, the place is breathtaking and has everything you need. Just bring your clothes and personal items. The cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway for two or just some time on the beautiful Lake St Catherine. When we go in early fall it is quite peaceful. It’s on a dead end road so very little traffic. We like to go for walks and everyone that we meet is very friendly and helpful.
We use the kayaks supplied by the cottage and paddle around in the lake. There is a state campground across the lake and down a little. If you go there you can land on the beach and walk around and explore/enjoy the beautiful campground and beach.
We also go for drives around that part of Vermont, enjoying the scenery and exploring. It is beautiful country. The roads are good and the people are friendly.
We have once had the pleasure to meet the owners. They are very nice and very attentive should you need anything. We have never had any problems and we would recommend this rental to anyone. I know that you will enjoy it as much as we have.
Wonderful Rental!
We absolutely loved staying the week in this cottage. It was great being right on the lake and having kayaks to use as well. The cottage was clean, welcoming, and had everything we could have possibly needed. So glad we found this place and decided to stay here.
