We stayed at this cottage in Sept 2016 and it was a dream come true! The views from the cottage are majestic (you’ll have trouble leaving the deck) and the beach is a very short walk out the back door (there are stairs down to the beach due to National Seashore’s high dunes).
The cottage is spic and span and equipped with everything you need, all in excellent condition (bonus alert: outdoor shower!). Pam was as nice and accommodating as you’d want her to be. If you want a special stay in Cape Cod, this place has the magic!
This is a cozy beach cottage in a superb location, just a few minutes walk down to the beach itself. The views are spectacular from the deck. The living room is cute, and the kitchen well-equipped. The bedrooms are a bit tired but comfortable.
The 3 stars reflect the owner's reluctance to give back our deposit, almost a month after our stay. First time this has happened to us in 10 years renting in Wellfleet. We finally got back half of it, only after a number of emails, calls and texts. Would not recommend for families with young kids unless your kids don't use the living room or deck.
This was our first time renting a cottage and found it exactly to the pictures and descriptions plus more. The cottage was so cozy, neat and equipped with everything we needed. All of us enjoyed the spectacular views and sounds of the waves breaking. I so enjoyed sitting on the deck early in the morning with my first cup of coffee feeling the ocean breeze and listening to the ocean. So tranquil and relaxing. Also watched the amazing sunrises from the side deck, another beautiful feature. It turned out to be a great vacation for all of us, one we would definitely do again. I also found Pam a delight to work with. She was very pleasant, helpful and easy to talk with. We are all looking forward to another stay in the future. I have already recommended this rental to a few friends and relatives. Also don"t miss the little french bakery PB up around the corner.. This cottage is close to many beaches along with it"s private beach. Excellent location.. Pleased with everything!!
Upon arrival the place was spotless, neat, and comfortably furnished. The views from the back and side porches are exceptional and add significantly to the experience. Beach accessibility is most convenient and close. Being able to hear the ocean with the bedroom windows open was a nice bonus. Even though there are other beach homes near, the cottage is still very private. We definitely plan to return for future vacations. It offers everything that we value and love.

I spent a week at this cottage and I can highly recommend it. It is a delightful home perched on a small bluff overlooking the ocean with million dollar views of the water. The gorgeous landscape of the national seashore is spread before you as far as you can see. The house is very well appointed. We like to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed to make wonderful seafood dinners. The house has fabulous windows and sliding doors that flood the house with beautiful light. A short walk down the path takes you to the most breathtaking semi-private beach. The village of Wellfleet is nearby with charming shops and art galleries. We had a terrific dinner at The Bookstore Restaurant situated right on the harbor. Try the fresh oysters. One other indulgence not to be missed is the the fresh almond croissants and coffee from local french pastry shop, PB Boulangerie. Bring them home and sit on the deck and enjoy them with the beautiful view, like we did!
I have been to Wellfleet many times and had forgotten what a very special place it is. The town is a great little place and there is plenty to do locally. From the fresh markets to the oyster bars/lobster shacks, and craft tents, Wellfleet has it all. Additionally, it is close enough to Provincetown for a day trip to whale watch or catch a ferry to other points.
My wife and I arrived at the tail end of a hurricane, and we picked up our daughter and granddaughter at the ferry dock in P'Town. Despite the initial bad weather, we felt right at home and Pam, our host, made sure that we were well taken care of during the stay. We settled in, played board games and watched a little TV until the storm subsided. Watching the surf and the towering waves was spectacular and then we walked the beach. As the weather improved we were able to enjoy the area and become beach bums for a few days. There is a long stretch to jog or bike ride along the water and a park nearby.
We visited all our old haunts and sampled the Wellfleet oysters down by the dock. One night we brought home some fresh caught shell fish and had a cook out on the grill. This house is all you can ask for and is well stocked. Of the places that we have stayed, it stands out for its location and amenities.
I highly reccomend this property and plan to return this Summer.
The weekly summer rental rate is $3,100.00. There is an additional refundable security deposit of $300.00. Off season rates vary week to week, please contact the owner for more information.
