It is large, well furnished, and pleasantly decorated with local art. The covered lanai has views of the golf course. The full kitchen has everything you need if you want to eat in. The owners have thoughtfully provided binders with tips on the best of all the local area has to offer, including directions.
This golf villa is 3 minutes by car from the Mauna Lani clubhouse, with the Mauna Lani and Fairmont resort shopping and restaurants just slightly further. It has a one car garage. For those who like walking, which we do, coastline access and two nice beaches are within about 10 minutes on foot. Both beaches have parking if you prefer to drive. One of the beaches will provide access to Cabanas, etc. through the Beach Club access card the owner generously provides. Several other beaches are nearby, with decent snorkeling. The development's nice pool, hot tub, and work out room (not elaborate-just some space for yoga and universal weight apparatus) are right out the front door and across the street.
We had a great experience here and would love to come back.
F2 was a wonderful place to stay! Comfortable, clean, & beautiful. Centrally located to everything we wanted to see - including great access to the Beach Club and Black Sands 49 beach. Saw manta rays at Black Sands both times we were there... Incredible!! Really enjoyed our stay and couldn't have asked for a better place!!
Our family, my husband, I and two sons on holiday break from college are still remembering and talking about the fantastic time we had while staying here for 1 week in January. It is hard decision choosing where to stay but I made the right decision when I chose F2. We loved the well decorated spaciousness. Photos do not do justice to the artwork and furnishings that we enjoyed here. We all had our own bedroom and bathroom. I wanted this to be a restful time for all and since my sons share places with others, this was important.
We loved the location; steps to the pool, workout room and just a couple minutes by car to the gated beach club where the beach and snorkeling is fantastic. I was some what worried before I booked about being off the beach but from my experience, if you are staying at a beach resort, the walk is longer to the beach than the actual car ride and parking here is excellent with shade parking. Shade parking on the beach!!! What? And a restaurant and beach chairs available there and if you want to rent a paddle board or whatever, you may. My concern turned out to be one of the best things about renting F2
We checked out almost all the beaches on the coast and this location is just minutes away from other fantastic beaches one must see and experience. And speaking of touring, one doesn't have to pay to valet your car and it is right outside your door in case you have to get something from the car. We loved this about the unit!
The unit was also very clean and we wanted for nothing! There wasn't anything we felt that was lacking. We appreciated the use of the beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs that we used at other beaches. We also took the bicycles out for a ride. The food store was close, as was the snorkel rental store which offers numerous drop-off points on the Island. To our family, what more could anyone need?
We loved the lanai off the master bedroom, and the grill in the downstairs. We are missing your beautiful home, and the beautiful weather. We recommend this rental to any family who would appreciate the joy that can be theirs by staying here. Mahalo for the sweet memories.
What a spot! You don’t have to be a golfer to love Mauna Lani. This condo is has everything you need for a Hawaiian Vacation that is second to none. Some of the best snorkeling on the island is just three minutes from the front door. There is a black sand beach just minutes away as well as several hikes through historic Hawaiian archaeological sites right on the resort property. Shop for food just minutes from your door at the Mauna Lani Foodland or at the fresh farmer’s markets all over the island, and use the well-equipped kitchen and grill to eat like a king. Mauna Lani is on the dry side of the island, so you hardly ever have to worry about rain spoiling your time on the beach or the perfect Hawaiian sunset. But don’t worry. If you start to miss soggy weather, just head over to the other side of the island on the Saddle Road and you are deep in tropical rain forest before you know it. We were there in July of 2015 and loved every minute of it. This is the perfect place to stay in paradise.
Our family of four really enjoyed the luxurious, modern, two-story three-bedroom condo floorplan that F-2 offered. We especially loved the location directly across from the wonderful pool/hottub area as we had two tweens. The décor and furniture were the perfect mixture of modern and Hawaiian yet comfortable and tasteful. We made a game out of looking at all of the artwork. Honestly, the photos did not even begin to show how amazing and gorgeous this place was (look at the kitchen photo - everything is as great as the new stainless appliances and granite counters). DVD collection had fun family movies, porch offered a swing for morning coffee and a table for meals. Laundry was quality and worked well so we packed lightly. Private wifi worked great. TV's in all the rooms were fun for the kids and husband. Fans were appreciated where we tried to keep the air conditioning off as much as possible, and downstairs screen doors were nice. Keyless entry was great. Foodland minutes away was perfect for all our cooking needs. I highly recommend F-2! It was possibly our best family vacation yet, and quite a bit due to our condo.
I recommend getting instructions on the location and how to use the air conditioner if you're coming in at an odd hour because it could be hot at first, and you might not be in your right mind to cool the place down for sleeping (although after that you will likely not use it too often unless it's summer). Also, if you aren't very technical, make sure you know how to use the DVD player, etc, as there are limited instructions - I found cable instructions, but luckily the setup was much like our own. And we couldn't find small ice cream sized bowls. That's not too many suggestions for a huge condo! Honestly, it's perfect!

Such nice accommodations. My husband, baby and myself came to Kona for the Honu 70.3. The house was so nicely done with everything we needed. It was across from a nice pool and within a short drive to a pristine beach and shopping.
We stayed in another place for the first part of our trip and I wish we'd stayed here the whole time.
The owner was so fantastic and flexible. We decided to come early and she was incredibly accommodating. We loved our stay and would def come back.
