Explore the beauty and bounty of the Pamlico Sound from your own backyard! Our home is located on a deep, protected canal 500 feet from Pungo Creek. Launch your boat, canoe, or kayak from our recently built boat ramp located onsite. Moor up to four boats on 200 feet of bulkhead and enjoy the calm waters of upper Pungo Creek or the wild adventure of the Pamlico River. Experience a place where nature still runs wild as you discover the best fishing in North Carolina. The kids will love catching crabs and eels in the canal with the pots we provide for your enjoyment. From our back yard you dont even need a boat to catch flounder.

Not a sportsman? Let Belhaven be the first stop on a fascinating trail of history, culture, and the quiet enjoyment of nature. Self guided driving tours will take you to museums, lighthouses, historic sites, theaters, gardens, parks,and wildlife refuges. Explore the art galleries and distinctive gift shops in historic downtown Washington and return for a wonderful meal at local restaurants.

At the end of the day, barbecue your catch on a large Kenmore grill on the patio, relax in a Jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom, or join your party around a large cable TV to watch the game. The kitchen is fully equipped and all linens and blankets are provided to ensure that your stay will be comfortable and relaxing.

This is a great accommodation for anyone attending graduations, weddings, funerals, or family reunions in the Belhaven Bath Washington or Plymouth area. ALSO GREAT FOR WORK OR CONSTRUCTION CREWS IN HYDE, WASHINGTON, OR BEAUFORT COUNTIES.

May 2014 we added an onsite boat ramp for boats up to 21 feet in length and up to 24 inch draft. Water depth at ramp varies from 1 to 3 feet depending on the wind tide.

New SPORTS PACKAGE: Included in cost of stay you will get access to one canoe, two kayaks, fishing poles, crab pots, golf clubs for your use and enjoyment. We only ask that you rinse off whatever you have used and stow and lock them where you found them.

Lizzy's Landing is reopened as of June 13 2019. The backyard landscaping renovation is now complete. Lawn is back in, a picnic table built into an old stump, and a new large fire pit have been added. In 2020 the new trek deck was installed and the railing systems were also upgraded. A new Kayak rack has been placed by the boat ramp making launching and clean up easier. We still have two kayaks and one canoe for our guests use.

Outstanding location, very nice house / layout, unfortunately too many rules / restrictions

Awesome location for anyone wanting access to the water!!! Private boat ramp, bulkhead approximately 100 feet long on the sound. This property should be 5 stars except for the numerous rules / requirements that they have ... more than any other VRBO property I have rented. On top of that, no trash receptacle on the property so you have to take it home or to the local dump.

Perfect Everything

Second time for us at Lizzy’s Landing. Best place we found so far from Maine to Florida that covers our interests and needs, seafood quiet and small boat friendly waters. Fishing is good for those who try. House and property are perfect and well kept and in a great location with friendly surroundings. We plan on returning as long life allows.

Quiet and Relaxing

Spent some time with my best friend who has terminal cancer. Did a little fishing, but basically hung out, talked, and enjoyed the very peaceful setting. House was as advertised, comfortable and clean.

Lizzy's Landing is named after our dog Lizzy who passed in 2019 at the age of 16. Lizzy's Landing is owned by Robyn and her family. Doggie ownership was passed on to Snickers who proudly claims our shed "Snicker's Shack".

Our friend and retired fishing guide Tim Penhollow grew up in this area and brought Robyn down here to fish many times in 2008-2009. We ALWAYS go home with a cooler of fish. This location on Pungo Creek cannot be beat. It is private but accessible. No matter what the weather you can get out on the creek and fish. If the weather is calm turn left and venture towards the Pungo River and Pamlico Sound or take a trip to Belhaven by water. If it's a little windy turn right and explore up the creek where it is more protected. Salt water game fish to be caught include striped bass, sea trout, flounder, puppy drum, black drum and more. Fresh water fish include largemouth bass and perch. Hunting, especially duck hunting, is fantastic. Duck hunter's will have easy access to the upper Pantego river and many other hunting sites. Kayaking in this area is phenomenal!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Sit out on the rockers on the front porch and take in the sweeping view of acres of farmland. Sit out on the back deck that overlooks the 200 foot canal. No neighbors on either side lends for a very private location. Use our crab pots or eel pots right off of our bulkhead to catch crab, flounder, and eel. Also menhaiden bait for fishing can be netted most days in our canal. At the end of the day you can use our fish cutting station to filet your catch for dinner. Also enjoy the Pond. Kayaking, sailing, and jet skis would also be great from our canal which draws over 4 feet of water. Water access for large boat trailers is via CEE BEE Marina on Highway 99. New in 2012 the Fossil Dig. New in 2014 onsite boat ramp. New as of July 2015 is free wireless.
