The detached house is located in a quiet and rural area, immersed in a wonderful Mediterranean surrounding between olive groves and with a fantastic sea view across the Messenian bay up to the opposite peninsula Mani and the Taygetos mountains. The detached house with two holiday apartments is in a hillside situation, directly above the Gargarou beach. Both apartments have a separate entrance. The apartment on the ground floor is used by the owner family during the summer months. The holiday apartment on the first floor is let to our guests.
AKROJALID is a well-kept holiday apartment with an entrance via an external staircase. From the bright open kitchen with windows and balcony doors and from the circumferential terrace, which might become your second living room, you can enjoy the view of the blue sea and watch sailboats go by all day long.
The high wood panelled ceiling creates an airy atmosphere in the well-equipped holiday apartment. Adjoining to the living room is the bedroom and the bath. The terrace of the holiday house invites you to enjoy wonderful sunrises.
This holiday accommodation is ideal for couples or small families, people who seek tranquillity and love the sea. From the terraced property you walk down the hill for about 100m until you get to a narrow, almost private beach.
The beautiful fine sandy beach of Peroulia is in walking distance (approx. 500m) and can be access directly from the property via some steps in northern direction. This beach is ideal for bathing and relaxing. 500m further down the beach there is a beach bar with sunbeds and parasols and also a tavern.
The close-by picturesque village Koroni with its port scenery, taverns and cafés make a nice change from the quiet location of Gargarou. Especially charming are also the towns of Pylos and Methoni on the western side of Messenia.
On the coastline between Koroni and Pylos you will find many further pristine sandy beaches.
