Holidays in the monument combines heritage preservation and tourism. Historically valuable Bauzeugen be taken, gently renovated and rented as apartments. The model allows a double win: The monuments received a new future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The idea is realized by the foundation Ferien im Baudenkmal (FiB), which was founded in 2005 by the Swiss Homeland Security.

Parking: There is no parking directly at the house. One minute away from the house is the chargeable SBB car park. The access to the house is guaranteed. You can unload your luggage or purchases in front of the house.

Public transport: The fisherman's houses are located directly next to Romanshorn station (1 minute walk).

Number of persons 4: There is a cot (up to 2 years) available. The house sleeps four guests (plus baby). From the entrance on the ground floor, turn right into the kitchen and left into the bathroom with shower / WC. Straight ahead from the hallway into the living-dining room. From the living room a door leads to the first double room and through this there is the second double room (trapped room). Extras: The Lake Constance region is ideal for bicycle tours. Right next to the Romanshorn train station you can rent bicycles and / or e-bikes from SBB. The Fischerhaus 3 is managed as a B & B and can accommodate up to 10 people. There can also be rented only one night. The B & B runs a small cafe / restaurant. This is open on Friday evenings, Saturday evenings plus Sunday afternoons.
