On a small hill in the Chiana Valley is this comfortable apartment on the first floor of a private villa. You enter the apartment through the private terrace and you are directly in the central living area, very cozy with its antique walls, arches and ceiling beams; the kitchen corner, three bedrooms (one with exit to the terrace) and two bathrooms join. The furnishings are in Tuscan peasant style, with fireplace. In front of the apartment extends the long brick terrace with seating area and barbecue. The apartment also has a well-kept garden area with a sitting area, a lawn for sunbathing and children's games ? from everywhere you can enjoy a wide view over the Chiana valley. The friendly owner lives on the upper floor. The location is very convenient for exploring central Tuscany ? in no time you can reach Arezzo (15 km): stroll through the central Corso, which leads you up into the old town to the cathedral. There are at least three churches worth seeing in Arezzo: the cathedral itself, which dominates the entire city; the medieval ?pieve? and the church of San Francesco. The piazza in front of it is the best place for an aperitif, while the Vasari loggias in Piazza Grande are the best place to combine culinary and visual pleasures. On the first weekend of every month, the entire old town comes alive with the great national antiques market, and in June and September, the traditional Saracino equestrian games take place in Piazza Grande. Other worthwhile destinations: The picturesque Etruscan town of Cortona (25 km), Monte San Savino (6 km) and Lucignano (10 km); Lake Trasimeno (35 km) or the medieval wine town of Montepulciano (40 km) and of course Siena (60 km) with the most beautiful square in the world, the "Campo"! The center of the small village of Alberoro with all kinds of stores, bar, ristorante you can also easily reach on foot from here (500 m).
