We have been vacationing on Amelia Island for over 25 years and have stayed at many condos. Mostly on The Plantation. This year we decided to venture out and rent a house. I can honestly say it was definitely the best decision we made! Even with a little rain we were able to enjoy ourselves with the spacious house. We have every age group - from adult children to grandchildren. We have several family members that stay at BeachWalker and the location was perfect for us to meet up with them on the beach and to visit. The owner was an absolute pleasure to work with. The house is exactly, if not more, than the description given. Extremely clean, spacious, wonderful location, very private, well-maintained, stocked beyond anything you can imagine! Owner has thought of everything and has taken a lot of time to provide a personal book with restaurant recommendations, things to do, etc. You cannot imagine how this house is such a relaxing place to be. Very nice but not stuffy - very open and comfortable! We loved the outdoor bar and grill area to relax in the evening. We will be back - actually have already booked for next year! Can't wait!
We rented this house over the Labor Day holiday during our son's wedding. Pictures and descriptions of the house are very accurate. The only thing they shortsell is the location. It is ideally situated within Amelia Island Plantation. We hosted the rehearsal dinner at Walkers Landing with its beautiful sunset--a special evening for us. Most of the out-of-town wedding guests stayed at The Inn, but our family of five stayed at this wonderful-true to its name-- Beachside Paradise. It had every amenity we needed plus was such a calm and serene aesthetic, which balanced the wedding frenzies perfectly. It was a lovely place to host family and friends who stopped by. The teens loved running off to the beach which was a short, fun hike away. Senior family members just enjoyed having a peaceful, yet beautiful place to park themselves. Our family would love to come back here to this house and resort as we were so caught up in our wedding agendas that we did not have time to do all the fun activities such as kayaking, golfing, nature hikes. We did go out on the beach in the mornings for the sunrise--breathtaking--and even got some full-moon night hikes on the beach. Such a great time! We will be back!
Beachside Paradise is truly heaven on earth. Susan’s home is a luxurious escape from the hectic pace of the real world. The home – and it is a home, not a house – is waiting with everything a vacationer might need. The bicycles are in mint condition, the kitchen is fully equipped, and there are numerous beach supplies, some of which you might not have even considered, but Susan did. As the sun shines brightly on Amelia Island, this home is just a short stroll from a smooth inviting beach, void of crowds, and calling with perfect splashing waves. As the day draws to a close, her fire pit with cut wood stacked nearby, is a cozy spot for unwinding. The Omni Amelia Island Plantation is conveniently located as are many restaurants in case cooking is not in the cards. My only regret was departing from this divine abode!
This was our fourth year spending our family vacation here and it continues to feel like our own " beach home"- casual, not fancy, familiar and friendly with all the basics provided so there is no " second guessing" of what to pack...short walk to beach which is NEVER crowded and I love the vibrant , alive ( and warm) Atlantic surf!! We will keep returning as long as we can...
This is a very nice and clean home. The kitchen and baths were the most well stocked that we have ever seen in any other rental property! Lots of room for the family to spread out. No negatives on this home. Anyone would love to stay here!
This is the perfect location and size for our extended family's visit to Amelia Island. The other properties we explored felt cramped and also did not have the large airy rooms, the outdoor space and the amenities that this beach home provided. All of the extras--bikes, beach towels, extra bedding, beach chairs, umbrella, totes, and much more--were an added bonus. We were especially pleased that kids were able to walk to the beach on pathways and never had to step onto a road.
All were delighted, with no negative comments. We are looking forward to next year.

Rental fees $400.-$425/night
Pet fee: $75./pet 2 dog max (with owners approval only)
An online payment of half (50%)of the total fee is required to hold and confirm your reservation. The remainder of the balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival.
IF YOU CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION, A REFUND IS MADE IF THE HOUSE IS RE- RENTED, AND THE OWNER HAS NO LOSS OF INCOME.
