Charmant huis midden in de natuur

Midden in de natuur twee schilderachtige huisjes buiten de bewoonde omgeving. Huisje biedt prima comfort en met de grote privétuin en zwembad is het een prachtige vakantieplek. Geen verkeerslawaai en lichtvervuiling. Aardige gastvrouw.

Schön und einsam

Sehr schön, allerdings auch sehr einsam auf dem Berg gelegen. Der Supermarkt ist 30 Min. mit dem Auto entfernt.

Very isolated and rustic vacation destination

When we arrived the grounds and house were clean. It was difficult to find, on top of a hill and unknown to navigation and Google. Keepers only speak Italian, making key transfer a little strange. Our experience was fine, it is an hours drive to Lucca and a little more to Pisa, Firenze and beach. Pro's: Very isolated, noisy kids can play and nobody is bothered Pizza oven and bbq available (do bring coal and burning materials yourself) Fits 4-12 people on the grounds, nice for big family stay with all this privacy Very rustic, basic and many many insects, lizards, other wildlife (cats, boars?) sheep herder passes twice a day. Nice pool, big garden, enough shade Big fridge, small freezer present. Washing machine available Good strong wifi (almost no phone reception) Improvement points: Ants took over the bathroom and were unstoppable in creating an ant hill in the bathroom. There was no toilet paper on arrival. You can't expect people to pack everything like that also. The bed was slept in for at least 20 years and could use a new mattress If you expect tenants to leave the house clean, provide things to do that with. I don't bring brooms, vacuum cleaner etc on vacation generally :( (none were present) A gas stove with 4 burners should have 4 working burners, we had only two. They expected us to light them with a cigarette lighter, very unsafe so I bought a pencil lighter at first chance and left it. Every time the fridge turned on, the lights turned off. If you turned the water on or flushed, the lights came off. Rustic? But strange. A kitchen could do with a water cooker and coffee cups. All we had were 6 water glasses and a pan on stove.
