Our family loves to stay at this cozy, beautiful beach cottage every summer. We love that the owner has really made it feel more like a home than a rental property. It's always immaculately clean and includes high quality furniture rather than the flimsy kind that you sometimes find in rental properties. I look forward to snuggling up on the plush sofas to read books or watch movies at night.
Avalon is a quaint beach town-excellent for couples or families who are looking to "get away from it all." However, Atlantic City is only 40 minutes away if you want great shopping or night life.
While you're there, be sure to eat at Sylvester's. It's out favorite seafood restaurant on the island and just a few minutes drive from the house. We like to get takeout so that we can eat on the deck while watching sunset over the bay.

We stayed in Avalon after the season with two other couples. This house was more of a home than a typical rental property. Beautiful and comfortable furnishings. Plenty of outdoor options when we needed some privacy. It was a great stay. The owner went out of her way to make sure everything was just right for us. Avalon was quiet and the weather was great. We'll be back.
We loved this little house. It was just perfect. The house is adorable and well decorated. It is in a quiet area and so it was just peaceful. The porches were great. We liked that we were just a little away from the main town but yet walking distance from restaurants and shopping. You will not be sorry renting here. The owner is very nice and made our stay so nice. I am really picky and everything is so clean and quaint. Loved it! Loved it!
This was the best house we've ever stayed in during our visits to Avalon over the last 30 years! My family was very impressed with the decor as well as the size of the rooms. The three porches provided plenty of space to spread out. The back porch was our favorite place to enjoy meals. The fact that so many supplies (like toilet paper, paper towels, detergent and dryer sheets, dishwasher soap and cleaning supplies) were provided by the owner was also a bonus! We also enjoyed the fact that there was a park across the street and not houses. The neighborhood was quiet and family friendly. All in all we were delighted with our stay and would highly recommend it!
I can not say enough about this home! The decor and cleanliness were above our expectations. The owner had taken the utmost care in preparing for our visit and made the rental process easy. We are already planning our return next year. Perfect girls getaway!!
Esta casa de campo renovada com plataformas recém-cobertas tem vista para o Complexo Recreacional de Avalon e para o Parque, oferecendo oportunidades para futebol, hóquei, baseball ou softball, tênis e basquete. De duas plataformas você pode ver a hidrovia da ilha. O carrinho ilha pára outro lado da rua oferecendo passeios regulares para Stone Harbor. Nós muitas vezes a pé ao congelamento Avalon, que fica a apenas alguns quarteirões de distância. O bairro é tranquilo; a maioria dos vizinhos são os proprietários que vivem em Avalon ano. As praias nesta extremidade da ilha são muitas vezes menos lotado com excelentes vistas para as cidades costa norte do Mar Isle, Ocean City, e Atlantic City.
Outras atividades: ténis, basquetebol, aeróbica, Zumba, yoga, futebol, beisebol, hóquei em campo, softball, corrida e ciclismo.
