This is a comfortable, safe, convenient, and quiet apartment, having all the amenities of home. I'd stay there again.
This apartment is well located in the 15th among wonderful restaurants, cafes, shopping centers, grocery stores as well as the bus line and metro which are both a "short" walk from the apartment. The property is very well maintained and any issues (we had one small one) were addressed immediately. The owner is very response to inquiries which attests to his excellent customer service. The washing machine in the apartment is a definite plus. There is also a dishwasher. The kitchen is very well equipped for any type of cooking. The patio is very private and was enjoyed by us most days. The apartment is located across from one of the best bakeries in Paris and just down the road from a highly rated Crepe Restaurant. The building is quiet, safe, secure, very well maintained and managed by a lovely, friendly couple. We have rented from the owner twice and would not hesitate to do so again. In fact, we were third in a string of friends who have rented from the owner. Another friend arrived as we left to rent for the next month which again is a complement to this apartment and owner. We also like the fact that this apartment is located in an area of Paris although close to many attractions is not in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Paris and gives one a truly livable experience in Paris. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone. You will not be disappointed.
This lovely apartment is perfectly located and secure - elegantly and comfortably appointed for a longer stay. This listing was a true find. The owner has compiled all the information to make your stay a wonderful experience including restaurants that are nearby. I look forward to an opportunity to visit again!
This apartment has a great location. Close to a metro stop. We got fresh bread from across the street each morning. There was shopping and great restaurants all around. Jean-Claude was great to work with. He responds quickly to any inquiries. It was just a great place to stay. Would stay here again for sure :)
I've just finished one week of a five week stay in your apartment, and already I feel at home. It's perfect. I awake each morning, and open the blinds and sliding glass doors to the lovely garden. The breeze blows in, and it's a late Indian summer, I'm giddy with delight. I enjoy having my tea outside and watering your plants. I feel fresh and alive along with them.
I was surprised at the size of the apartment, larger than I thought from the photos. The bedroom is on the other side of the apartment, away from the living room, which comes in very handy since my husband wakes up early and doesn't like to disturb me. It's so peaceful here. The kitchen is small, but has everything thing I need and not a lot to clean up! The wireless connection is excellent, very important for me.
I love the boulangerie across the street, the Monoprix (grocery store) two blocks away, the flower vendor, easy traveling with the Metro one block away, and I've learned to rent a bike at the Monoprix to get around. I can tell my energy is improving already! Everyone has been very helpful and friendly.
What a dreamy break from life at home. I can't wait to come back (and I still have four weeks left!). Thank you, Jean-Claude. It's been amazing so far.
I can't say enough good things about this apartment. We just spent 4 nights there in early June and found it to be an excellent choice. The apartment itself looks exactly like the photographs indicate. It's clean, the beds are nice, the kitchen is well stocked with whatever you will need to prepare simple meals or breakfast and the bathroom's good, with a lovely, strong shower.
I also really liked the little garden, although we didn't really have enough good weather to use it much. When I decided to rent this, I was slightly concerned about the security angle of being on the ground floor, but both of the big door/windows that give to the garden have heavy wooden blinds, which you can close when you go out (and they're motor-operated, too, so it's just pressing a button).
The other nice thing was having an internet connection there, and also a laptop to make use of it.
The location was really excellent, too. Coming out of the apartment onto the street, if you look to your right you can see the Eiffel Tower, right there (it's slightly further away than it looks, though, maybe a 10 minute walk). It's half a block to the nearest Metro station, too, so it's really easy to go anywhere you want from there. I really liked that the area, even though there are quite a few hotels around, feels very much like a residential one, and we got a kick out of living like we imagined "normal Parisians" do. Plenty of nice, little non-tourist-trap restaurants around, so we made good use of the little guide to the recommended restaurants in the area sent to us by the apartment owner, Jean-Claude.
Which brings me to my last point: Jean-Claude was brilliant to deal with. He was always very responsive, answering emails quickly and clearly, and near our arrival, he sent us a welcome pack which was really outstanding. Not just the guide to restaurants mentioned above, but clear and detailed instructions on how to use public transport to get to the apartment and how to get in, as well as a couple of really funny and interesting articles! He was also very flexible, allowing us to leave our luggage in a safe place in the building on the day we were leaving, since our plane left late.
I highly recommend renting this apartment if you visit Paris. All around excellent!
