Recomenda-se que os grupos com um grande número de adultos olhar para as opções de combinação e adicionar mais unidades para a sua selecção como o número de pontos de dormir nessa cabine sozinho é muito elevado em relação ao espaço global e funcionalidades da cabine.
Por favor, note que o Google Map fornecer para nós não é totalmente preciso. A estrada USFS chamado "Poder de cavalo" (visível se você aumentar o zoom de forma adequada) é uma estrada não-veicular por isso é excelente para caminhadas e ciclismo, mas não permite que veículos motorizados. O mapa mostra que conectar e terminando em Birch Rd, o que é incorreto. Cavalo Ramo Trail irá levá-lo todo o caminho para 28N rodovia e termina cerca de 1/4 milha a norte da entrada para a Área de Recreação Tsali. Uma lata de mountain bike todo o caminho para o Tsali trilhas diretamente a partir desta cabine.
I am posting my email to the owner and his response after our stay:
Everything was ready when we got there and we did have a good time. However I wanted to email you before I put a review on VRBO. The top two floors of your cabin are very nice. I was significantly disappointed however that there is no mention of your unfinished basement on vrbo, with the concrete floors & undone walls, and was overall too uncomfortable to even use. We traveled an extra hour to find a cabin with amenities that my parents and I wanted with a basement and game tables.
Other things I feel compelled to mention: pool sticks were not in usable condition, and we had to buy our own paper products including napkins, paper towels, and ran out of toilet paper after the first day; no shampoo anywhere but there was soap. We've rented cabins before and understand that this should be taken care of by your management. We called the management company multiple times to get area information and there was never an answer and no voicemail. I'm also very surprised that there is no mention of your unfinished basement on VRBO reviews, seems very odd. Thought I should let you know our thoughts.

This was our first time visiting the Smoky Mountains and if we return, we will definitely book Big Sky again! We had ten adults in our group with four couples. Each couple had their own private bedroom and there was plenty of room for our other two guests. The house is even better than the pictures and provided great places to relax both indoors and outdoors. The property was just about perfect for our group with room for more.
The road to the house is paved which I found to be difficult to find when researching properties. A definite plus for our motorcycle toting group.
The location of the home was also ideal for our motorcycle vacation as it is centrally located between the Maggie Valley, Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Absolutely riveting riding experiences for sure.
The owner Charles was accessible, instruction for the rental were easy to understand and support from the owners repair folks was just a call away. Not that we had any issues with the house but the grill didn't seem to want to heat up correctly. One call and they were there before we got back from our ride. Very polite and courteous people to work with.
A+ rental property at a reasonable price.
The home is spacious with plenty of room for everyone to do things together or in smaller groups. From ping pong and pool in the basement, to badminton, corn hole, and bocce in the back yard (bring these 3 games with you) to sitting around the fire pit, eating smores, or relaxing in the hot tub, this is the place to kick back, relax, and enjoy family time. We had 4 generations (from 6 yrs to 81 yrs) and had a wonderful week. It was hard to leave the property to go see other things. The kitchen (well stocked...it just lacked a candy thermometer for peanut butter fudge and a rolling pin for homemade biscuits) was great and smooth flowing with several preparing meals at a time.
We were fine, but regular mattresses rather than futon mattresses on the the 3 beds upstairs in the loft area would have been a plus, so if you require a softer mattress, make sure to get one of the four actual bedrooms. There was plenty of hot water We had a small maintenance issue and the owner was very prompt in taking care of it. Charlie is awesome to work with!
There was plenty of parking. We had 4 cars, and there were room for 2 more easily. This location was very quiet and peaceful. The view from the back decks was fantastic. Stay here and enjoy!!
This was the most relaxing vacation we have ever taken. The Mountain view was beautiful morning, noon and night. It was so quiet ....the only sounds we heard were the birds singing. WE enjoyed rafting, taking a pontoon boat out on Fontana Lake, which is the most beautiful water I have ever seen in a fresh water lake. The hot tub was a big hit. It was always cool enough to enjoy reading on one of the porches.
Everything we needed was furnished .....the kitchen was especially well furnished. We hope to go again
There is tons of room for the entire family and extended family. We stayed for the weekend and had our family Christmas Celebration as well as went to Bryson City and rode the Polar Express. It was only 10 minutes to the train and shopping. The Cabin is Very well equipped from the kitchen right down to the board games. The kids ranged from 4-20 in our group and there was never a dull moment, when we first arrived some of the teens complained about the lack of WiFi, but then found family to entertain themselves, it was Wonderful!! Hide and Seek was a Favorite, lots of cool spots were discovered. We had plenty of room for everyone to do their own thing or play and spend time together. The views were stunning and the cabin was clean and beautiful. If I had to pick one thing that was not perfect it would be the road up the mountain, that is only because I get very car sick. The road was only wide enough for one vehicle and very windy and steep, fortunately it is only a couple of minutes and you are on a main highway. The weather was perfect for our stay but I would assume that road would be a problem in the slick winter weather. I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone looking for a great family getaway!!
We love the Bryson City area and have been visited almost yearly for the past 15yrs, the area is beautiful, so much to do and it never gets old. Staying at Big Sky II made this vacation the most memorable we've ever spent in Bryson city. This mansion/cabin it's spacious yet cozy, everything on the listing was very accurate and all the amenities listed are in perfectly working order, the house was spotless and well maintained; definitely a plus on my book on the cleanliness.
My husband and me are very happy to have found this property and we will definitely book "Big Sky II" for our future vacations.
