Bem-vindo ao nosso condomínio espaçoso, luminoso e limpo atualizado / 2 casas de banho 1 quarto em um dos melhores resorts do condomínio em South Kihei. A unidade (6-109) está localizado 60-70 pés dos spas piscina e jato, 100-120 pés a partir de um excelente espaço de estacionamento gratuito e de 3 min fácil caminhada do Kamaole III Beach - uma das melhores praias de Maui. Esta é uma unidade de chão, então você não vai precisar de elevadores ou corredores, e o jardim tropical é apenas um passo da sua varanda. A localização e conveniência desta unidade é difícil de bater, mas é muito privado e tranquilo! Relaxar e experimentar Maui.

O condomínio tem uma abundância de opções de dormir convenientes: uma cama king size no quarto, uma cama queen-size Murphy e um sofá-cama queen na sala de estar todos têm colchões novos (2008). Location, location, location

We were entirely delighted with this ideally-located and well-maintained condo. There is direct proximity to the large swimming pool and concierge desk (take advantage of their orientation and assistance with nearly everything), easy access to a series of beaches across the street, and it is minutes from nearly any activity or adventure you might want in South or West Maui. The Murphy bed in the living room is just as comfortable as the queen bed in the master, two bathrooms (both with roomy showers) are a real plus, and parking is handy for carrying things into and out of the condo. We would gladly come back here!

Stay at Your Own Risk

We rented this condo for 2 weeks earlier this year. One morning we found the kitchen sink plugged. To make a LONG story short there was no property manager available for this property. We notified the landlord that we have turned off the water and were heading out for the morning. Because there was no property manager we were unaware that with a plugged main stack of the building everyone's water from their kitchen would flow out of our kitchen sink and it ended on the floor of our condo. Apparently this is a common issue on main floor condos. The landlord hired a restoration company to clean up the condo and we were told we needed to move out because our 2 and 3 year were at risk for contracting serious GI issues if the water was contaminated. The first night we slept on the floor of my parent's condo and the remaining 5 nights we had to pay for a much more expensive 2 bedroom condo (but we were so lucky to have found something). We were reimbursed for the nights out of this condo but not for the extra cost of our subsequent condo. We also asked if we could have 2-3 free nights for next year to make up for the extra expense, stress and inconvenience but were told as owners of the condo they do not feel like they should be 100% responsible for the financial impact of the leak - even though this issue was a building issue and nothing we had done wrong. I would just like to warn people that this is something that does happen to first floor condos (as we found out by talking to others in the complex) and you may find yourself sleeping on the floor and paying extra on your dream vacation. Also be aware that you will be asked to manage any property issues due to the lack of a property manager available to you (even though it was listed on the agreement that there was a property manager available). We will not be staying here again due to the management of this condo.

Resposta do proprietário: The facts are not correct. The guest is not happy that we returned only what they paid us, not the extra money they paid to another condo (which was an upgrade anyway). We had the flood because of this guest, and we could have chosen to blame them and to retain the money, yet we decided to return everything and didn't even tell them that had they been more attentive and careful about the condo this whole mess would have been avoided. Here is the story. When the guest called me on Feb 4, she said that that drainage was slow since they checked in a week ago and today the kitchen sink got plugged completely, and then some water with rice spilled over the kitchen sink. She said there was water on the floor, that they needed to leave and I should call the manager to clean up. I called the manager, but she was tied up some place else and wasn''t available immediately. I called back and asked the guest to stay until a plumber comes, she said they can't stay, they wanted to go to the beach. When a plumber came an hour ago, the condo was completely flooded. We had much damage and spent days to resolve this. In her review, the guest mentioned that she wanted to stay next year with us, but I didn't agree to let them stay for free 3 nights. And then she ends up the review by saying that she will never stay with us because we didn't have a manager. This is misleading. We have never had any floods in our two ground floor condos since 2002 when we bought them. This flood was due to someone from upper floors putting a lot of dry rice through the kitchen disposer and plugging the main line. Had the guest told us the drainage was slow, had they stayed in the condo to watch until help comes, this wouldn't have happened.

Great location, quiet, clean and convenient. Very close to the wonderful pool

#109 in bldg 6 was very nice. Comfy beds, AC in living room and bedroom. Had everything you need. We couldn't find the beach umbrella which would have been useful, but our daughter enjoyed the boogie boards. We added some pool noodles to the supply. Grounds were beautifully maintained, security on site. Very family friendly. Very short walk to cross the st to kamaole 3 beach.... Saw turtles every day!!! Nice bbq area, but we didn't use... Lots of good places to eat nearby. The bldgs that r around the pool area are nice and quiet, away from S. Kihei road. Would definitely recommend. We will be returning. Thank you Elena.

Kamaole Sands 6-109 Aug 1st - 8th stay

This is the perfect location for a Maui stay. Great location for the island. Relax and enjoy! This condo has an great feel and it became home for our stay. Twice now... Most trips take only minutes and pool is just a few steps away. Stay here once and you will stay again.. We did, and will again. Thank you Elena.. you have a great Island and condo..aloha

Great location, one of our favourites!

After spending just over 2 weeks at this condo, we were very pleased with how close our unit was to the pool, hot tub and concierge. Being on the ground floor was a bonus as we could relax on the large lanai or spread out on the supplied lawn chairs on the grass area in front. The extra items for our use was so beneficial...something so lacked if you rent a hotel room. There was all the snorkel gear, boogie boards, noodle floaties for the pool, extra towels and even some spices left in the kitchen.

We were able to walk across the street to Kamaole Beach 3, where the best viewing of the turtles was in the afternoon, and the best park area to sit and watch the sunsets. Nearby restaurants, pubs, ice cream parlour, S & Q's coffee shack and general store served us well and we walked to them all.

This October was apparently unusually hot, so the air conditioner couldn't quite make the back bedroom cool off, so we slept on the murphy bed in the living room, where the trade winds passed through the room for a more comfortable sleep.

We utilized the barbeques several times and they were clean, tools were there for us. The pool was always clean, and the staff there always friendly.

After viewing a couple of open houses for units for sale, the only thing we might suggest is it could use a bit of updating. The tiles especially in the bathroom, toilets, showers and cupboards are showing their age.

I surely appreciated Elena's quick responses to any questions I had! She is a great owner to deal with! Thank-you for that!

Overall, I definitely recommend this unit!

Kamaole Sands is a beautiful complex, loved the pool area and the fact it was only steps from our lanai. The condo was very well equipped with beach toys, chairs, snorkels, fins, and even a sunhat. The kitchen had everything we needed.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
We have a 90-day cancellation policy (VRBO doesn't have this choice for us to display). With 60-day cancellation notice we would have less chances to re-book, and so with VRBO policy, should you have a cancellation after the 60-day cut-off, there are no refunds. With our 90-day cancellation, the chances of re-booking are higher, and we will refund any money that we can recover, minus the cancellation fee. Depending on the amount recovered, this fee can range from $200 to your booking deposit. We highly recommend buying trip protection for your peace of mind.
