Recentemente apresentado na Casa Hunters International !!!! Recém-atualizado condomínio 2 º andar com vista para o mar lindo! Localizado na praia em Potrero com vista para Flamingo e as ilhas Catalina. Convenientemente localizado a uma curta distância de restaurantes, bares e supermercados. Uma piscina com jacuzzi e varandas foram apenas concluída fazendo estes alguns dos melhores condomínios da região. Basta sair do condomínio e para a praia para aqueles manhã ou à noite praia passeios. Ou sentar-se na varanda e observar o pôr do sol enquanto vê as luzes do Flamingo.
My wife, 2 of our daughters and I made our first trip to Costa Rica. Our friend recommended this condo and we were not disappointed. It was what we were looking for, quiet with amazing views yet close enough to the restaurants and night life of Potrero. The girls loved the pool and the sunsets were to die for. Looking forward to coming back.
Perfect combination of culture and tourist activities. We wanted to feel like residents but wanted a few comforts from home and this was perfect. The pool and beach are RIGHT THERE! Saved a lot of money by fixing our own meals. Ocean was too rough for our 10 & 6 year old so the pool saved us. Can walk to market and restaurants. The produce by the condo was the best and so fun to shop at. Gary provided excellent directions from airport and helped us with rental car, where to shop and even cash machine location. Getting a car was a great decision! We used captain tom's at Gary's advice for Palo Verde river tour, catamaran ride and horseback riding and felt we had advantage over other renters. We were picked up right by condo and didn't have to sweat trying to find the national park on our own like others in the unit did. The condo itself was beautiful with floor to ceiling windows to ocean, view, large showers, nice sized rooms and ample supply of towels. So close to ocean that we could hear the waves even with windows closed. Quiet beach and you feel like it is your own private beach.
This is our 15th year going to Costa Rica and our second time on Potrero Bay. The condo is located directly on the water and view is amazing. You are steps away from the beach and and one to two blocks away from bars, restaurants and grocery stores. Less than a hundred feet behind the condo is a fruit market with almost everything you would need as far as produce. DVD player didn't work so bring a portable one with the a/v cables. Laundry is accessible but not inside the condo (across hall). The grill is a centrally located community grill but the upside of it is that its in its own tiki hut bar area that if you want to host something is pretty cool. The best part of the trip is the property manager Randall. We did not have any type of phone service so we had to email him, but we always got a very quick response or action. He went out of his way to make sure our stay was very memorable and enjoyable. We had several issues when we first got into the country which caused us to be approx. 3 hours late meeting with Randall to get into the condo. When we did get there he was standing out front with a smile on his face and was extremely pleasant even after waiting for us. I would book this condo again if only to deal with him again.
The property was just as described in the VRBO listing. The bedrooms and living area was spacious. The kitchen was adequately equipped. The grounds and property were clean, and well maintained. We really enjoyed the easy access to the beach. The area is very quiet, but there are some nice restaurants near by. Groceries are a short drive away, as is the surfer town of Tamarindo (great surfing!) and Flamingo Beach, which is a wonderful beach. The owner, Gary, was very helpful and we really appreciated his advice re car rentals, and everything else for that matter. If you're looking for a quiet, out of the way place, this is it!
All in all our stay was excellent.Positives: the condo is as described. There is easy access to the pool (essential during hot weather), very easy access to the beach and to the warm water ocean. There are several good quality, modest-priced eateries within 3 or 4 minutes by car. The fruiteria across the road (100 metre walk) is excellent, economical and it is a great way to start the day with fresh pineapple or avocado.
Negatives: the beds are hard, very hard - especially if you are a senior or have a tender back. There is NO worthwhile place to snorkel in the vicinity - none.
All in all, several positives and a (for me) two negatives.
Everything was better than we expected and better than pictures! The view is amazing, bests sunsets in the terrace!!!! 2 steps fron the sandy Potrero beach, literally first line beach front. Gary is a wonderful host and is willing to help in everything you should need! Gary´s first advice was to have a beer on the pool while watching the sunset, thanks Gary, that view was awesome! Breakfast in the terrace is great so peacefull and quiet you can hear the birds and the waves.
Perfect distance to most wonderfull beaches, just some minutes by car and you can get to the white sand turquise sea Conchal Beach, the best in the area. Close from famous Tamarindo, Flamingo and many nice and quiet beaches.
We took two condos and they were both perfect. It is perfectly equipped, no need to take anything at all, very spacious and nicely decorated. There are markets, bakerys, restaurants and bars close from the condos, no need to worry. Perfectly clean and maintenance was good.
We travelled with kids of 3 and 5 and they had their best hollidays ever, they are asking when can we get back!!! The beach is quiet and safe, no big waves at all. We had a wanderfull stay and will surely make it back there, totally recommend it! Sole & Family from Argentina and San Jose.
A área de Flamingo é conhecida por pesca desportiva de classe mundial, vela e mergulho. Esta é uma comunidade tranquila, mas cheia com muitos bons restaurantes e da paisagem mais bonita na Costa Rica.
