Você não atravessar nenhuma rua para chegar à praia. Nós somos a terceira casa junto à praia; ou seja, duas casas são entre Coral House e da praia. Estamos a menos de uma quadra de um acesso à praia pública, que é uma passarela de madeira elevada que começa na nossa rua (2 Ave) e atravessa cerca de 50 metros de dunas antes de terminar na praia. Temos um vagão de praia que você pode carregar seu equipamento de praia em e puxar para a praia.
Uma cama de casal no quarto e um sofá-cama queen na sala de estar pode acomodar até 4 pessoas. Para maior conforto, ar condicionado central é complementado por um ar condicionado de janela no lado oeste da casa.
Condo Banana é no 1º andar apenas 3 passos para cima da rua e é tudo em um nível.
Restaurantes nas proximidades: dentro de um bloco:
1) Seafood de McElwhee,
2) Tybee Grill
3) Sundae Cafe - um hole-in-the-wall, toalhas de mesa brancas, Gourmet
restaurante. Sundaes? Nah. (Vai a figura), mas o Sugar Shack tem grandes.
4) The Shack Sugar - um decididamente downscale, barato
lugar que serve um bom pequeno-almoço, sanduíches e mão-
imersas em sorvete. Refeições ao ar livre Indoor ou coberto.
Os 2 Faróis: Dois faróis com menos de 3 quilômetros de distância, mas tão radicalmente diferentes em caráter. Quando você se aproxima Tybee Island, você vê o impressionante Tybee Luz na distância. Alto, moreno e bonito com uma compoteira branco. Ele foi homenageado um par de anos atrás, quando ele tem seu próprio selo postal. (Em círculos farol que é semelhante a um Oscar.) Mas, então, como você atravessar a ponte Lazareto em Tybee Island, você olha para baixo para a esquerda e piscar. É que um farol na água? Na verdade, é. Isso é valente pouco Farol Cockspur. Exposto, alvenaria branco liso. Não chamativo em tudo, exceto ... Em cada maré alta Cockspur está no oceano bem off-shore. Só na maré baixa é que o esporão rochoso parecer que apoia o farol pequeno. A fundação da empresa, afinal.
Perdido nos anos 40/50: Até agora, a zona comercial pitoresca perto do cais tem praticamente escapou da bola de demolição. Testemunha Arby --- único restaurante fast food de Tybee Island. Isso é muito bonito o que Arby parecia quando eles começaram no início dos anos 60. Como para fazer compras, não Sak está aqui. Estamos falando de Praia Shopping: T-shirt, lembranças, Sno-Cones, bebidas guarda-chuva, frutos do mar. Mas lembre-se, para a cultura e compras, não é colorido, histórico Savannah, apenas 20-25 minutos de distância. Leitura recomendada: Meia-Noite no Jardim do Bem e do Mal, um olhar divertido em alta e baixa vida de Savannah (cerca de 2 anos na lista dos mais vendidos de não-ficção do New York Times).
Coral House está localizado a cerca de meados de praia entre a Praia do Sul (casa do cais e compras) e da praia norte (casa do majestoso Tybee Luz e da ex-Ft. Screven, agora um museu).
My kids and I truly enjoyed staying here. It was super close to the beach and the perfect size for us. The inside was cute and well stocked. My only con would be the floor was dirty. I am sure it is hard to keep it clean with beach, etc. but the minute we walked barefoot on it our feet were black. I would just maybe recommend a deep clean to the floors once a month. Other than that it was great. :)
The property was clean and adequately maintained. We were expecially pleased with the location and its close proximity to the beach and to several restaurants. The house was fine for four people, but more than that would be crowded. We were a little disappointed in the front patio; it was not clean and needed some updating. Overall, it was a good selection and we would recommend it to family and friends and possibly stay there again.
The apartment was misleading, very small my husband is a house builder and house painter. He said the whole apartment was about 300 sq. feet. It needed a paint job. The location was great. We were there for R.& R, We could walk to the beach, there were 3 great eater, and stores, so that was great. It was great that the owner had beach chairs and umbrella and cooler for each apt. however there was only 2 carts for hauling them with 4 apts. We did get to use the cart once. Having a washer & dryer with detergent free to use was a great thing. When booking if I would have know that I would not be able to check in until 3 pm and check out at 10 am I would not have booked. That is just loosing a day but that is me. The size of the apt. worked for my family, my husband, son, and myself are small people. The bed was small the sofa bed was small I don't think they were queen.The picture of the bedroom showed a T.V. , There was none, however the TV in the living room/dinning room/ kitchen was huge and we enjoyed it. We were able to get clean towels when needed and that was great. Being a apt. and not hotel the owner had everything we needed in the laundry room.
We enjoyed our stay so much we called and asked to stay one more night....
We booked this beach location for a girls weekend. The coral house looked adorable. We rented the Banana room. I have nothing nice to say other then the location was perfect. The AC filters had 1/4 inch thick layer of dirt. The drawers in the kitchen are broke. The fronts just fall off. The refrigerator was super gross and not cleaned. The fake trees are a cute addition to give it a tropical look, tons of dust and grime all over them. I can only imagine the amount of dirt floating around! The pull out couch is rough... Really rough. Do not plan on having an extra person sleep on it, it's unsanitary. We only stayed one night, we couldn't believe the condition of the place based on what we paid. We were there for maybe 15 hours and paid more then $400. We stayed one night and drove back to Florida the following morning. I contacted the owner stating the issues and asking for a refund based on the uncleanliness. He said he would look into it and get back with me. I waited 2 days and reached out. He said he would need to inspect the property. I had previously sent him about 8 pictures showing the filth. However between the time of my initial complaint and him waiting for an inspection the unit had been cleaned again. As a solution the owner offered to refund the cleaning fee.... Only the cleaning fee. I expressed that that wasn't a satisfactory solution and was then told he retracted the offer to refund the cleaning fee. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I wish there was an option to post the pictures I took while there. I'll be loading them onto face book and hoping some people save there hard earned money and spend it elsewhere.
