Piso muy bien situado, muy cerca de metro y varios comercios de alimentación y restaurantes en la zona. A 15 min. del puente de Brooklyn para acceso a Manhattan. El piso es grande pero el acceso por escalera estrecha bastante incómodo para ancianos ó niños pequeños. Hay casi 60 escalones desde el nivel de calle hasta la azotea y unos 40 escalones desde calle hasta el dormitorio ppal. Había falta de mantenimiento y reparaciones en mobiliario de cocina (puerta microondas, armarios de cristalería). Tanto el mobiliario en dormitorio ppal. como en el salón están muy anticuados y son incómodos. El propietario tardó más de un mes en devolvernos el depósito de posibles daños; tuvimos que contactarle dos veces por e-mail para recibir finalmente la devolución, cuando lo normal que indica HomeAway es 7-10 días.
Property with very good location, close to food markets or shops, several restaurants and subway in the corner. Lack of maintenance in several things (kitchen, bedrooms). Beds and other furniture at main bedroom and living room are very old; would suggest changes. For old people, small children or heavy luggages, there are around 40 narrow steps from Street level to main bedroom and more tan 50 steps from Street level to roof level (good open terrace with a view to Manhattan financial district in the South); you could see Liberty statue in the far. The property returned our deposit for potential damage around 1 month after we finished our stay after 2 complaints by e-mail when the usual time to return this money should be 7-10 days following HomeAway rules.
For the most part, everything about the place was great. The owner always responded to our inquiries prior to our trip and during our stay. The place was warm and had wonderful accomodations. I would have given the place 5 stars; however the mattresses were very uncomfortable and the place was dusty. Otherwise, I would recommend this place to anyone.
The back of the apartment literally is next to the freeway and the front of the apartments is on the main access road leading to the freeway. Five adults used ear plugs were still unable to get anything like a reasonable night’s sleep. Forget using the roof deck as the main view is the freeway and traffic noise makes it impossible to even have a discussion. The apartment is ok , I suggest it’s a full on rental and as such reflects that in its décor and furnishings. Apartment location is good to subway and shops.
The apartment is very good located in Brooklyn, since the metro is just a block away. It is convenient near a nice grocery store and little shops. The immediate surroundings are not very nice, but two blocks away there is a park and the streets have trees. A very big inconvenience is that the apartment is in the second floor, and you have to go to a third floor for the bedrooms. One bath is in the third floor, the second is in the second floor. The apartment is near a Highway, so one bedroom has noise day and night. The amenities in the kitchen were enough, but essential tools like blender and cheese grater were missing. All other appliances were working OK. The owner was not very helpful and his directions were minimum, it would be important put instructions of maintenance of the house (garbage) and all devices. It is remodeled and was quite clean. I can recommend it if you do not mind stairs and like to be in Brooklyn. For visiting NY you have to think in an hour metro trip.
The property was clean, there is cable, the location is convenient. My only complaint is that the beds were very hard even though the mattress pad was on, so my husband and I went to get an air mattress due to back pain. Other than that my stay was awesome.
My wife and I (from Ohio), along with our friends (a couple from Spain) had a wonderful stay at this lovely Brooklyn apartment. The kitchen and two full bathrooms are renovated very nicely and the size of the living spaces are quite comfortable. Every detail has been thought of from the appropriate number of towels to a wide variety of take-out menus and tour maps for Manhattan. The Prospect Ave. subway stop is right around the corner and takes you directly to the heart of Manhattan on the N or R trains. With an unlimited MetroCard we easily navigated Manhattan by Subway to get everywhere we needed to go. There are two grocery stores within 2 blocks as well. We were very pleased to find the cleanliness of each and every room. The full-size washer and dryer in the kitchen helped us go home with all clean clothes. It was a perfect spot for our week stay. Be mindful of parking as certain days have street cleaning times in which you need to relocate your vehicle, but it wasn't a big deal. Save time on your apartment search and book your stay at this great location!

There is no smoking of any kind, either in the unit or on the roof deck. Anyone caught smoking will be asked to check out immediately and forfeit the remaining balance of their stay. If the unit smells of smoke after you leave, you will lose 50% of the damage deposit to cover additional cleaning costs.
