This is an architecturally designed holiday home with a warm, classic kiwi bach feel. Designed as two interconnected dwellings, with floor to ceiling glass to soak up the beautiful views of the water and incorporated with a stunning timber interior, large decks, walkways, and an outdoor Courtyard and BBQ area. Situated on a flat, half acre site, there's plenty of room to play on the lawn and best of all the boat ramp is only 100m away! An easy 200km (2hr 30min) drive from Auckland city.

Whananaki is a place of amazing scenery and endless activities, you'll find plenty of things to do and enjoy while staying in Whananaki North. Whether it be relaxing and swimming at any of the beaches, kayaking or paddle boarding on the calm waters of the estuary, fishing, boating, jumping off the wharf, sailing, discovering the Southern Hemispheres longest footbridge, diving or hiking the scenic tracks.

You'll find several beaches within a few minutes drive of the bach. You can choose to relax on the calm beaches under the shade of beautiful pohutikawa trees or head to any of the multiple surf beaches in the area. There's also a hidden lagoon with crystal-clear water but you'll need to ask the locals for directions:)

If you love to explore and adventure or just relax at the bach and watch the tide come and go... there's something for everyone!

Special conditions:
We require a $250 bond to be paid upon each stay, and will be returned after inspection of the use of house.
Smoking and pets permitted outside only (unless the pet is of the small, clean, indoor type).
2 nights minimum stay for weekends OFF PEAK only.
Minimum stay differs through the peak season and public holidays.
Linen is optional and may have an additional charge depending on the size of your group.

We request that all guests bring their own personal towels. No towels will be supplied

Hot Tub: Not available December or January as there are water limitations.
The Hot tub comes at extra cost of $300 because of water restrictions and cost to run, please ask for information when you book and we can add to your booking if you wish
