Tan Tar A, três quartos, três-e-um-metade casa de banho grande, com vista para o lago e banheira de hidromassagem. Dormem 4-12. Localizado perto da piscina exterior. Parque de estacionamento para três veículos. Existe uma cozinha totalmente equipada, dois grelhadores a gás e carvão, e um alpendre-in e pavimentos descobertos. Além dos quartos, a sala de estar também tem uma grande TV com um aparelho de videocassete / DVD com internet de alta velocidade. Há TV de tela plana em todos os 3 quartos. A casa é uma casa para não fumadores.

We had such fun here and there was plenty of space - loved sitting in the hot tub and relaxing. Wonderful property - will recommend to all my friends.

Great House - plenty of room

We, along with two other families, stayed at this house over Labor Day weekend. There was plenty of room for our 3 families with children, it was clean upon arrival and had everything we needed for the entire stay. We spent most of our time on the screened in porch, grilled on the large gas grill and enjoyed the hot tub on the deck, as well as the pool down the street! Fantastic, family, fun weekend. We will definitely be staying here again sometime!

Diaster at the lake...mold, water damage, uninhabitable

Rented house for staff program review/retreat. Black mold in master bedroom, living room and water damage throughout the house. House is uninhabitable. Cobwebs, leaves, dirt on porch upon entry. Property in general unkempt condition. Trash outside of home. Hot tub according to owner had been struck by lightening the previous day and was unusable-hot tub reeked and had obviously been unusable for an extended period. Contacted owner immediately and asked for full refund as mold issues are a major health concern and could not risk exposing my staff to such conditions. Provided pictures that clearly showed the mold and trash, cobwebs and general unkempt conditions. Still waiting for the owner to do the right thing and refund full amount as the house was not used for the days paid for due to the abysmal condition of the home. Have yet to hear back from owner. Have filed a formal complaint with VRBO regarding the stay. Don't be fooled by the other reviews. I have used VRBO extensively and this is the first negative review I have done. Please do not expose your family or children to what looks like black mold. House needs extensive repairs and maintenance.

Resposta do proprietário: There was some mildew 20 feet above the floor which was taken care of the next day. It was caused byroof leek where roofer had not put felt paper between the shingles and the wood. I asked 4 different people, 3 of which I had never met before if they felt the house was in a state in which they couldn't stay ther and they responded that they felt the house was fine. What was said about the hot tub was true. It is now fixed. Renter knew the terms of the lease and I did not feel she was due a refund. July is our busiest month and I would have been able to rent it to someone else. I have communicated with the renter and explained my feelings. There was a little trash in front, which had been left by other renters and that has since been removed, empty soda bottles, etc. The renter over reacted and made a poor decision about leaving. The house was perfectly safe. I pride myself in trying to be fair with renters. In fact the rentors who stay for 2 weeks, 2 days later, I gave them discount because the hot tub was still not available for about half of their stay. I sorry she is unhappy but I don't feel she made a rational choice to leave.

The house was great! Good size, nice electric fireplace, newer propane grill, easily accessible from the main road. Had to call the owner once and he was great help! Will definitely be calling to reserve for next year!

Dated but met our needs

I will start by saying the house worked very well for our family. My wife and I were there with our son and his family (his wife, their 15 yr old daughter and 9 yr old son). The location, while feeling remote, was close enough to grocery and other needed supplies. Because it was winter, there were very few other people there, it was very quiet and peaceful. The house itself is nicely laid out with a main floor bedroom and bath and two large bedrooms with baths in the basement. There is a nice deck and hot tub on the main level. We could see from the photos of the property that it was dated so I won't comment a lot about the need for some upgrades (peeling paint, dvd players old, towels ragged, lights and heaters not working, etc.).

One of the first things we noticed was an odor. This could have been due to the house being closed up but may have been pet odor. We have a non-shedding dog and due to him having allergies, he is bathed weekly. We are not use to pet odors in our house. This is one of the downfalls of renting pet friendly hotel rooms or vacation properties.

I always feel that pet friendly properties should be uncarpeted to minimize odor holding surfaces.

The other thing was that when I first inquired about renting the property, the price was $X/night. Although this seemed low, I thought it might be an off-season rate. When the owner called, he told me that was a mistake and the rate would be higher. The higher price he gave me was still very reasonable so we agreed. I only mention it because the information in the listing was incorrect.

Resposta do proprietário: There is not a basement in the house, the house is a 2 story home with 2 bedrooms on the lower level. The lights mentioned were and are working. There are small built-in electric heaters in the bathrooms that don't work but are unnecessary, so we have not gone to the expense of tearing them out and replacing with wallboard. Don't understand the "out-dated" comment. Haven't noticed what this renter smelled and have not had this comment previously. The price charged was as listed in the rate information. The renter must have only read the estimated quote by VRBO, which at this time is not set up to estimate rent charges on all factors, such as our per bedroom charge.

Great accommodations and lovely views!

My husband and I stayed with our dog for 4 days. The house was great and so were the outdoors. It was a great relaxing mini vacation. The only thing that went a little askew was the gate code, the directions listed the main gate code for the back gate (where the directions led us to), we finally figured it out and all was well. The hot tub was fantastic, it was great being able to look up at the stars at night and relax. We really enjoyed ourselves and would love to go back.
