LookLake - Suite One is located in a new and very modern complex just overlooking Menaggio. It is very modern for Lake Como standards too but at the same time doesn't stick out like a sore thumb as one could imagine.
Nestled in the Menaggio hillside, compact, distinct but very elegant.
Suite One is an open space studio apartment with a double bedroom that does however remain separate from the living area.
An amazing lake view from all windows is to be had from the huge floor to ceiling sliding doors that open onto the balcony. A balcony that is fully equipped with table and chairs and 4 loungers. It is shared with the next door apartment if you have friends or family staying there or can be separated and private only for Suite One's space.
The living area consists of lounge, kitchen, and dining. The lounge area boasts a very comfortable sofa and large flat screen tv, sky channels with the possibility to switch the language from Italian to English or original language.
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with all you need to prepare your Italian meals to be enjoyed inside or even better, on the balcony with the amazing lake view! Nespresso coffe machine available so bring your favourite capsulas from home!
The double bedroom is separated from the living space with a feature designer wall, offers a very comfortable bed and high quality bed linen. Ample wardrobe space is also available. Floor to ceiling sliding doors ensure you a great view also from the bedroom and from the bed itself with the possibility to close the venetian blinds for sleeping comfort.
The bathroom has a large shower, basin, bidet and wc.
The luxury condo of LookLake boasts a rooftop swimming pool, one of the very few on Lake Como, let alone in Menaggio. If you think the view from the apartment is good, wait till you see it from the roof!!
Wide open views from the north of the lake to the central lake area and down towards Lecco behind Bellagio.

Vue magnifique mais un peu déçus des prestations...

Pour le tarif et le standing annoncé, ce bel appartement à quelque points-détails à revoir. Le ménage n’était pas nickel, plusieurs coups dans les murs, la chasse d’eau qui tombait et pas très insonorisé. On entendait les voisins et les enfants qui jouaient dans la piscine juste au dessus. Dans l’annonce, il n’est pas expliqué que c’est un immeuble avec plus de 6 appartements et que la piscine est à partager avec beaucoup de personnes. Mais le point fort reste la vue qui est effectivement magnifique et reposante. Les transats de la piscine étaient cassés et beaucoup trop de monde avec des jeux-matelas qui prenaient toute la place... l’accueil n'était pas très agréable. On vous donne les clefs et débrouillez-vous. Pas de contact humain chaleureux... dommage ! Peut-être parce que nous parlions français...

LookLake Suite 1, Plesio

We had just spent 2 weeks at another location on the Lake and had the most wonderful experience. Our stay at LookLake Suite 1 was a different matter, for the following reasons:- Arrival at the Letting Agents office:- We were greeted by a very curt unhappy person who made us feel like we were an unwanted annoyance to her day. Quite passive aggressive in the manner we were greeted, the lady was clearly irritated about something and quite unpleasant to deal with. She barked off instructions about the location of the apartment, then continued to do the same with how and what the keys were used for (garage key, security gate key, apartment key etc.). I was told not to keep pressing the front security gate key which led down to the garage otherwise it would lock for anything up to an hour. The property is quite difficult to find as the GPS does not recognise it (letting agents words) and the entrance was off to a sharp angle off a very precarious road. The road to the apartment takes you around many precarious bends. You most certainly need a car to get to the location. Once there, you park your car in the garage then have to take your luggage up 3 flights of stairs as there is not lift - the letting agent did not explain that it would have been better to park at the front entrance of the complex to off-load baggage as this would only then need you to take your luggage up 1 flight of stairs. We are not disabled at all and are very fit therefore not a problem for us, however there are no allowances for disabled people (I don't believe this was mentioned anywhere). No local shops or restaurants that you can stroll to as the road is too dangerous for foot traffic. The apartment size is suitable for 2 people as advertised, but is very small. The flooring is wooden which is nice, however it was continued in the bathroom which is not a good idea as the flooring around the toilet stank of urine. I had to sanitise it to try and get rid of the smell. The shower is outright dangerous, very slippy and does not drain. If you spend more than 2 minutes in the shower it overflows onto the floor going under the sink. The bedding is of very poor quality, The sheets looked well worn and were a distasteful chocolate brown as were the towels (old and quite frankly did not smell clean). We booked for 10 days and there was not a change of bedding or anywhere to dry sheets if you washed them in the washing machine (no dryer). Pool Area: We were told by the letting agent that we could only use the pool for 3 days of our 10 day booking as the pool would not be maintained past the 3 days. When advising that we had booked for 10 days and expected the pool to be functioning, we were told by the letting agent that the pool is turned off because it is too expensive to run. The air-conditioning was not working when we arrived and we were told that due to the time of year this would also be turned off. The weather in Mid to late September was very warm this year and we needed the air-conditioning as we could not leave the windows open due to mosquito's and other bugs. The letting agent came out to turn the air-con on for us but was not very happy, which was clearly communicated to us.

Fantastic holiday

We had an amazing holiday the apartment was fantastic with the best balcony and views we have ever experienced. You will need a car or have to hire taxis to get to menaggio which can work out expensive to get cabs. The apartment had every thing you could ask for a fantastic holiday in all

découverte du lac de come

très bel appartement trés bien équipé avec une déco contemporaine superbe . la vue du balcon est incroyable et à couper le souffle ! prévoir la voiture pour aller au centre de ménaggio qui n'est pas éloignée mais c'est la montagne .
