There are many spaces for group interaction as well as private space for quiet reflection after a day of skiing. Located on the High Road, State Road 76, midway between Santa Fe and Taos, Truchas Peaks Place is strategically situated for access to additional area attractions, whether that is gallery shopping, taking in the selection of fine dining, skiing, hiking, or visiting historical sites.
Truchas Peaks Place, located on the High Road to Taos, and nestled at the foot of the Truchas Peaks Mountains, is 45 minutes from either Santa Fe or Taos. Newly constructed, the spacious building melds traditional adobe architecture with the territorial pitched roof style for a southwest ambiance while indulging the visitor with modern amenities. Guests can easily travel State Road 76, a New Mexico Scenic Byway, to find Truchas Peaks Place both accessible and secluded. There are ten bedroom suites. Each suite has a queen size bed, luxury linens, writing tables. Six suites have private bathrooms, four of the suites share two bathrooms.
Providing the amenities of a fine hotel, Truchas Peaks Place is an ideal location for small retreats, conferences and workshops, or reunions and weddings. The bedroom accommodations are complemented by ample meeting rooms.
Book your accommodations at Truchas Peaks Place, then head north to Sipapu Ski Resort, a short 30 minute drive, to reach New Mexico’s family friendly ski area. Sipapu, with affordable lift ticket prices, usually opens before any other resort in New Mexico and has the longest ski season in the state.
Common spaces include a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, dining room, 3 sitting rooms and a large library all available for guests to share. A floor plan is available on our website. The entire structure has 12,000 square feet of space. Common areas and second floor suites have gas fireplaces.

Outside, are decks and portals for panoramic views of the Truchas Peaks, the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range, the Jemez Mountains and the Pedernal, made famous in the paintings of Georgia O’Keeffe.
