Privado, privado privada. Taxa semanal é de US $ 600.
This is a wonderful camp on a very quiet pond and was just what we needed. The cabin was perfect with no electricity or distractions. The camp was warmer than we expected, and is very tight; even on cold nights, the camp kept its heat. We enjoyed watching the beavers at dusk every day and we also saw a turkey, a raccoon, a chipmunk, ravens, and woodpeckers, but alas, no loons as they were already headed south. Our dog loved swimming in the pond, chasing the ball in the yard, and going on quiet walks. We thoroughly enjoyed our unplugged time there, and are looking forward to a return visit.
This place was literally everything my boyfriend and i were looking for. being on the water was so beautiful at everytime of the day. So private we heard maybe one car a day. Fishing from the canoe or the dock! Eating meals on the porch, we even caught an awesome lightening show from the porch one morning. Ed is always there to get a hold of if you need him.. However, you never will! We left half of what we brought, in the car. Including phones! Everything you need and more is already there, just bring food and you wont have to leave at all. Its been a month and we are already talking about when to go back!!!
I left Eden a little less than two weeks ago but find myself very much still there. Being ushered out of the chaos and claustrophobia of the city and into Mr. Blanchard's incandescently serene compound was as close to a religious experience as that initial bite of a Shake Shack burger or listening to The Stones for the first time. The cabin is the epitome of cozy and full of amenities. The pond is perfect for fishing, swimming and canoeing and the porch provides the perfect spot for reading, painting, singing, sunbathing, stargazing, dining and nauseating amounts of blissful merriment. Following the general consensus of all reviewers below and the adorable comments left in the vacation journals found inside the cabin; my partner and I can't wait to get back. Thanks for sharing all that beautiful seclusion with us!
My boyfriend and I came for a long weekend away from it all, and that's what we got. Once we got the hang of the gas lights, the place was nice and cozy at night, even with no other lights in sight. The view over the secluded and all but uninhabited Gut Pond was unbeatable. I loved waking up early to watch the fog burn off it as the sun slowly lit up the trees. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook full meals, as well as a great little coffee percolator. We left during the day to hike and see the sights (Mount Mansfield was 45 minutes away) and even just driving through the countryside was worthwhile. A beautiful, peaceful place in a beautiful, peaceful part of the country.
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at the cabin. The setting is breathtakingly beautiful. At night, we lay out on the deck watching shooting stars and marveling at how many stars we could see. The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. It took a couple tries for us to get comfortable lighting the propane lights, but once we figured it out it was easy. Ed was pleasant and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed canoeing and swimming in the lake. We also had a great day trip to Burlington -- the scenery on the drive was so beautiful we would've enjoyed the trip even if it hadn't involved a great brewery and restaurant in adorable Burlington.
My husband and I were looking for a getaway from the day to day, and found this gem of a place! The pond was picture perfect and the cabin couldn't have been cuter, just enough technology to make the stay comfortable, but no too much as to distract from our purpose, which was to escape the hustle and bustle and relax. The place was clean and well kept/supplied.
Plenty to do in the surrounding area, we took the Stowe mountain toll road and were met with glorious views, Our dog had a great time too, we found our way to Dog mountain where he was in his own glory.. these were the only two trips we made, as staying at the cabin was exactly all we wanted and needed. Thank you for making your retreat available it was great.
