Ancient farmhouse situated a stone's throw from the village of Castiglion Fiorentino which is endowed with good restaurants all kind of shops and services and where, during the whole year, important historical, folk and art events take place. The owners live on ground floor of the house and with their discreet presence will be a reliable reference point for any information or need. All around the house the agricultural organic farm where many products such as seasonal vegetables, good wine and extra virgin olive oil are produced and can be tasted and bought on the spot. From the garden and pool the view on the Castle of Montecchio. In the wide garden, at guests disposal, there are a wooden gazebo equipped with table and chairs to eat outside, a barbecue, a children playground, a five-a-side football field and the swimming pool (size m. 6x12, depth m. 1,20-2,20 - open from 01st May to 30th September) which is sometimes used also by the owners. From the garden you can admire the ancient Castle of Montecchio, which preserves an intact circle of walls and a beautiful tower. Furnishing, simple and characteristic, make the house comfortable and cosy. On request the owner can prepare breakfast and typical Tuscan dinners.
