Amazing!

This condo was the perfect place for our wedding celebration. It has amazing views, clean rooms, great location, and an equipped kitchen. There isn’t one thing I would change.

Wonderful condo with amazing views

Our family of 6 plus an infant stayed for a week Feb 2024. The condo had everything we needed and was very clean and spacious - it even had a pack and play for the baby plus beach chairs and toys! The views were spectacular - all the bedrooms had a view as well. We loved the resort and the boardwalk that ran in front of it. The beach was very nice and we enjoyed seeing whales from the beach and from our deck! The kitchen had everything we needed. We stopped at the Costco by the airport before heading to the condo for basics like milk, eggs, chicken, beef, and libations as their price are pretty much the same as on the mainland. The location was nice as well - family members played golf at two different clubs, we shopped at Whalers village, went to a luau and enjoyed a whale watch with the Pacific Whale Foundation! Feb is great month to visit if you want to see whales and their babies! Don’t hesitate to stay in this condo and resort. We love the island of Maui and the people of Maui - it is beautiful in every way❤️❤️❤️

Perfect condo for couples

We extended a work trip with our friends. The condo was just as described. Having three king size bedrooms each with their own bathroom was amazing. The kitchen was well equipped and easy for our group to cook. Loved that there were spices left so we didn’t have to go purchase those. The trifold lanai doors made for wonderful evenings watching the sunset and many whales. The location was perfect for sightseeing adventures in any direction. We loved having Dukes on property. The rental process was easy with Sean sending so much information to help us plan our trip. The luxury of having bellman always there to help was a great benefit. We can’t say enough about the manager Monty how quick he responded to any question and went above and beyond with a beach towel issue that was not his mistake but he quickly made sure we were taken care of. We would definitely recommend this property and would come back.

Jaquis celebrates

We were a group of six that came to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, new jobs, work certifications, retirement and so much more! Two of our group had never been to Maui and they are already planning a returning trip. The whale watching was off the charts we did a tour but we could watch the whales off the balcony. Lounge areas were more than sufficient and the beach front was perfect! ☀️🌴 Thank you 😊 we will be back again in two years! Road to Hana tour was great!

It's close to everything we enjoy ... shops, markets, snorkling, restaurants, golf, tennis, fabulous sunsets, an uncrowded beach with lots of sand, ocean kyaking, hiking, quaint towns, or just lounging around the exquisite pool. The high standard of construction quality is evident everywhere on the property and inside our condo. The pools, waterslide, lazy river, hot tubs, fabulous beach, and lots of uncrowed space to just kick around at your own unhurried pace make Hounua Kai a magical place! Duke's Beach House restaurant is just steps from our condo ... we can hear the soft live music in the evenings from our lanai. Our home in Maui is a truly special place ... luxury in paradise!

A Special Place to Kick Back and Chill ...
We take our time to enjoy all of what Maui has to offer ... Whale watching (December - April) from the lanai. Chilling with friends at sunset over Margarita's. Morning strolls on the boardwalk to Whaler's Village with a breakfast stop along the way. Grilling locally caught Ahi steaks on the poolside grill. Snorkeling the wonderful reef just steps away, then sitting in the poolside hot tub ... very relaxing. Walking to one of the many local restaurants for a fabulous casual meal. Shopping at the local farmers market. Cooking wonderful local fish, fruits, and vegetables in our gourmet kitchen (how convenient that our son is a gourmet chef). Driving the Maui coast for uncompromising views of the ocean. The fragrant smell of fresh Maui air. It gets even better ... with so much to do, you can enjoy Maui at your own pace, taking in what you want, when you want.
