Choose to discover the hidden charms of the Cote d'Azur by staying at Segolene and Christophe's family home. Our XVIIIe century Bastide for which the legend says it belonged to Napoleon's surgeon is full of charm and history. It is secluded on the edge of a village, on a hill side, at the feet of the Mercantour National Park and 20 kms away from Nice, Monaco and all the beautiful beaches from the Riviera. Enjoy the beautiful surrounding nature, the stunning views on the mount Macaron and the mediterranean gardens (1 hectare) with its exotic flowers, palm trees, olive trees and cactus. Relax and enjoy the charm and the tranquility only disturbed by the birds in the morning, the frogs in the evening and the splashes in our beautiful and big swimming pool. From here, discover the medieval villages of Nice "arriere pays", trek or cycle in the mountains of the Mercantour, enjoy the warm and clear waters of the mediterranean see on the Riviera beaches or visit and spend the evening in the animated and beautiful "vieux Nice". There are so many paces to visit.
The house sleeps 12 people with 6 bedrooms, there are different areas with big tables outside to share a meal. You can also enjoy a barbecue and a pool bar. There is a vegetable garden and a few hen to provide for the brunch. The swimming pool is big so you can swim and play all together. You can also enjoy "une partie de boules" with a glass of pastis.
