Old San Juan é a cidade mais antiga dos EUA Território e parte do Património Mundial. É cerca de 8 por 8 blocos de arquitetura em estilo colonial única e oferece tudo, desde restaurantes, bares, cafés porto-riquenho, galerias, música ao ar livre, caminhos agradável para caminhar pelo Porto & Mar, lojas para turistas de supermercado, farmácia, Marshalls e Starbucks. A praia mais próxima não-oficial é em frente ao edifício do Capitólio, em cerca de 10-15 minutos a pé de quase qualquer lugar na Velha San Juan. A praia mais próxima bandeira azul é chamado El Escambron e pode alcançado em cerca de 25-30 minutos a pé ao longo do Oceano Atlântico ou em cerca de 5 minutos de carro / táxi ou ônibus. I rented this house for my family (me, my wife and three kids ages 17, 14 and 11). We stayed for a week (Saturday to Friday).
Pros - Many. Clean and well maintained; fully stocked kitchen; sleeps 5 - 6 comfortably with King, two twins and pull out couch (note that room with the pull out is on the street and there will be some noise on weekend evenings from passers-by and weekdays from commuters - not crazy loud, but enough to bother a light sleeper - luckily my son can sleep through a hurricane - LOL). Best of all - location. Within blocks to every site in Old San Juan and close to many local restaurants, bars, cafes and shops but not so close to the tourist traps to get tangled up with the cruise ship crowds. Small, isolated beach about 1/4 of a mile away, and a bigger beach with lifeguards, restroom facilities, picnic tables about a mile away. Owners provide a binder with recommendations and are VERY responsive. Neighborhood seemed very safe. Police are very visible and foot patrols are common. My 17 and 14 year old went to stores on their own during the day - although at night I would have been hesitant primarily because of the occasional bar flies wandering the street that you find in any big city.
Tip - if you plan on staying in San Juan your entire trip there is no reason to have a car. However, if you plan on venturing out of the city as we did then a car is handy. Parking is near impossible in the neighborhood, but there is a garage with an attendant 24/7 located just 4 blocks (on Calle Luna near Calle Justo) away where you can store your car for $20/day (plus valet tips) and come and go as you please. This worked great for us!
Cons - Not many. I recommend the Owners get another comfortable chair or small love-seat for the main room because, while the house sleeps 5-6, there is only comfortable seating for 4 people - 3 on the couch and one chair (there is a small courtyard with a comfy hammock my kids really enjoyed). Also, note that this rental does NOT have a DVD Player as advertised - the only thing we found missing from the description. I also recommend a wireless extension - the existing wireless router, which is in the front of the house, is useless in the back bedroom.
All in all - if I were ever to return to Old San Juan I would definitely consider renting this house again
I stayed here for a girls trip and it was exactly what we needed. The house was great and perfect location. It is 1 block from the boardwalk and view of ocean. There are numerous restaurants and shops around as well as grocery store about 7 minute walk away. The main areas do not have AC but if you open the windows and courtyard doors then you get a great breeze, we never felt uncomfortable from the heat. The kitchen has all the wares you would need for food preparation and drinks. We got locked out of the house on our first day, apparently the key broke. I called the company and someone came right over to try to fix it. We ended up needing a locksmith to fix the door who came right over. Amazing service! We will definitely stay here again next time we are in town.
Great place to stay in Old San Juan,it's near our favorite restaurant in old San Juan the Mallorca.
Excellent customer service they allowed us to check out at noon,will definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.
The location of the ground floor apartment was great. We were just steps from restaurants and bars with an authentic local feel. Don't miss a roof top breakfast at La Terraza boutique hotel just down the street. Everything was clean, the kitchen had plenty of cups, glasses, plates and silverware. I would have wished for a larger coffee pot than the tiny one provided but we made do. Having the washer/dryer was also convenient. DO NOT RENT A CAR for your stay as our travel companions insisted on doing. It remained in the parking garage all but 3 days of our 7 day stay. The OSJ is a walking city. We felt safe at all times. The weather was so nice we walked to Condado one day. Easy check-in and check-out. Having the second bathroom was a great find in the area.
Had a wonderful trip. The apartment was a good size. Rooms were comfortable. Highly recommend
We had a great stay in San Juan thanks to the location of this house. Close to the sea and close to the main attractions but also very quiet, the house is very convenient, especially with children. We could go to rest between trips or leisurely lunch. The small indoor patio was nice.

DAMAGE AND UTILITY DEPOSIT
We require a $200 to $750 DEPOSIT depending on the size of the property and length of stay. The deposit for weekly rentals will be returned 3 days after departure following an inspection of the premises. The deposit for monthly rentals will be returned following an inspection of the premises and after the utility bills of the last rental month have been paid.
10% tax include 7% local tourism tax and 3% service charge
Listed Deposit may be higher for stays longer than 1 week.
Listed Cleaning Fee may be higher for stays longer than 1 week.
Monthly Rates do not include the cost of electricity.
