While Marigot Bay is an excellent holiday destination , there is not an awful lot to do there. But having such a well equip apartment certainly helped. Having said that the facilities available at the adjoining Capella, why leave Marigot Bay? Mark ( the owner of the apartment ) arranged for his member of staff , Cyrus, to collect us from the airport and to return us after our stay. Very reasonable rates too. If we wanted taking anywhere or collecting from a location , Cyrus would be there for us. Obviously the destinations and collections were all prearranged . For anyone staying inMarks apartment , the " Hurricane Hole " is a must. Happy hour between 5pm-6pm. Meeting people who own the yachts moored in Marigot Bay all meet there for a daily update . Great fun being a part of that . We ate in for several evenings and had breakfast in the apartment every day. We didn't find it necessary to eat out every evening when the apartment was so well equipped . The little supermarket nearby was stocked adequate enough for our needs although they did sell out of a lot of stock and it took several days to replenish stocks.
Summing up. Would we return? We wouldn't give it a second thought. We simply loved our vacation . Mark and his staff were so accommodating , which is exactly what you need when on holiday.
The apartment was absolutely fantastic, just as advertised. We had an amazing time in Marigot Bay. Mark and Vanessa were very responsive to all of our questions before our trip. Cyrus was great as the apartment manager.
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful apartment. It was a great home base to explore all the parts of the island. We rented a car, which allowed us to explore the northern part of the island (Reduit Beach at Rodney Bay) and the southern portion of the island (hiked Gros Piton and snorkeled at Anse Cochon). There was ample parking right next to the property. We met Cyrus, the property manager, when we arrived. He showed us around and was very friendly and prompt at answering any questions we had during our stay.
The apartment was fully equipped with anything you may need including all kitchen supplies. There are 2 grocery stores. One was located right downstairs (little more expensive with the basic supplies) and a bigger grocery store 10 minutes away (less expensive with more food options). We cooked in a few nights but also ate out several nights. Masala Bay had delicious food and friendly service. Chateau Mygo was another great restaurant. Wonderful ambience by the water and great live music. There were also a lot of great options to experience local food at Labas Beach (2 minute ferry ride from Marigot Bay).
Marigot Bay was beautiful. I loved that we were able to use the pool at the nearby Capella Resort. The hotel attendants were very friendly and provided towels and cold water. You could order food and drinks poolside.

We stayed in the apartment for the first week of our 2 week holiday, the second week was spent further South near Castries. We were welcomed by Cyrus the Property Manager who was very courteous and somehow managed to carry both of our heavy suitcases up the stairs to the apartment! Although we did not need to contact Cyrus during our stay it was nice to know he was on the end of a phone, he was in fact a little concerned for our welfare as he tried to contact us in the week but we were out at the time, nice to know someone is looking out for you.
Marigot Bay is a beautiful location, quiet but very well placed for exploring the North of the Island, we rented a car from Best Rates for the 2 weeks and it was very handy to have our own transport for trips and shopping. the Car Rental Company were also very good.
The Apartment was extremely well equipped, very roomy and comfortable, air conditioning in the living room and bedroom made the humidity bearable and sleeping easy. There is a nice balcony on which to sip your sundowners. There is a small shop close to the apartment and also a cash machine at the bank in the town. There is a Super J supermarket a short drive away on the road North for a larger choice of groceries.
Within the town are a number of excellent restaurants and bars, we became regulars at Doolittle's Bar for the nightly Happy Hour, the waitresses were very good making sure we got full advantage from the drinks offers. The food here was also good, the bar is reached by a short free ferry ride. There is also an excellent Indian restaurant in the town the Masala Bay, food is brilliant as is the service, the Chef came to the table to check how we wanted our meals cooked and just generally to chat. Another restaurant reached by free ferry is the Rainforest Hideaway, not to be missed. As you can see for a small town Marigot Bay is blessed with some wonderful eating places.
The free use of the facilities at the adjacent hotel really added to our wonderful experience, it is a very friendly hotel with complimentary water and samplers of food and drink throughout the day while you relax on the day beds or sun loungers by the excellent pool. We did however have some problems accessing the included non motorised facilities but this did not detract from the holiday in any way.
Communication with the owner was very good with prompt replies to any queries. I have no hesitation in recommending the Apartment and Marigot Bay.
The apartment had everything we needed to make our two week stay very comfortable. It was clean, light and air conditioned with a large comfortable bed. The Capella Resort facilities were fantastic and definitely made our holiday since we were disappointed with the local beach. There was, however, free boat transfer laid on by the hotel to a good beach about 10 minutes away by boat. There were a number of restaurants, bank and a small grocery shop all within walking distance. We took a few day trips with Cyrus (the caretaker of the apartment). He was very friendly and always helpful.
We just returned home from a week-long vacation in beautiful Marigot Bay, St. Lucia. This apartment is lovely, as captured in the photographs. It is well stocked with all the necessities of home. Quiet and comfortable, we were able to truly relax and unwind. We were also highly impressed with the house manager, Cyrus. He was available at a moment’s notice and can assist with any request! It was quite reassuring to have access to a local Lucian with infinite knowledge and expertise.
Having access to the amenities at Capella Resort is icing on the cake! This is a beautiful resort with gorgeous landscapes and excellent staff. Don’t miss coconuts by the pool at noon. I also highly recommend the complimentary boat shuttle to Anse Cochon - a stunning black sand beach with great snorkeling accessible directly from the beach.
We rented a car for the length of our stay so we explored the island on our own; however, a taxi stand is located directly outside the apartment. A bank, café and small grocery store are also mere steps away. We utilized the larger Super J grocery for the bulk of our needs, but the small store does stock most necessities. Ferry boats are available for transport to other restaurants across the bay. We especially enjoyed Doolittle’s and Rainforest Hideaway.
The location of this apartment was great for us as we wanted to venture north to places like Pigeon Island and Rodney Bay as well as south to the Pitons and Anse Chastanet. We truly had a memorable adventure and recommend this apartment highly! We are already looking forward to our next trip!

A security deposit of £300 is required. This must be received with your final booking payment for the rental, it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met.
• No damage is done to property or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
• No charges are incurred due to illegal activity, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.
• All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in rubbish bin, and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned.
• The maximum number of guests is adhered to and only guests identified at time of booking acceptance stay at the property during the period of rental.
• All keys are left as instructed and the unit locked.
• All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
• No linens are lost or damaged.
• No early arrival or late departure.
• The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner) or the local law enforcement.
CANCELLATIONS - A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent.
