My Second Time Around

I love this mini mansion ( is what I call it) so much that I've been twice....The first time was with a family of boys...But this time it was an all girls trip.....Me and my friends stayed here for 5 days I wish longer..We had the time of our lives 2nd time is a charm....As like before..... We pulled up..My buddy Steve was there waiting and he always stays near just in case we needed anything...We never really need to bother him though....We parked in the garage which has everthing from beach chairs to coolers ,strollers, umbrellas..Washer and dryer....We used the kitchen everyday....It had everything we needed.....We take a visit to the grocery store and Rack up on groceries since we have a full kitchen....Breakfast, lunch and dinner anytime.....The first level has a balcony just in case you just want to chill on the first level because this place is huge......Second level has two bedrooms sleeps two people in each room and a bathroom....The third level is its own private level bedroom with a bathroom and a small bay window (balcony)........very private........And my favorite place to be is the amazing roof top which is why Iove I this place so much.....There is not enough words to explain....Private jacuzzi, chairs to relax, a day bed where I once fell asleep overnight during my first visit.(That's how comfy it is)....There is a gas grill that we definitely put to use more than once.... this place is over the top amazing...I can't wait to get back for my third trip around....I refuse to look or stay anywhere else...And I am very hard to please.....It's literally 2 blocks from the beach (Nikki beach) and two blocks the opposite to the Miami Beach marina.....It was also 8 of us we had air bed that slept 2 as well.......Don't even bother looking anywhere else...You've already found your spot....Thanks to the Owner Keith I had amazing Birthday..... Can't wait to get back...🤗.....I always wish I can stay longer.

Not What Was Expected!!

6 of us stayed here having booked 7 months ahead based on the pictures, video testimonial and previous renter reviews, should you stay here? Possibly! However, before you do you need to check with the owner that; the home will be cleaned before you arrive, that the bed linens are clean, you should specifically ask that the huge hole in the ceiling of the top floor bathroom has been repaired and that the bathroom redecorating has been completed. You should then check that the drains on the roof terrace have been cleared and unblocked so that the standing water from heavy rain showers drains away so that you can use the roof terrace after the rain has stopped and the sun comes out again, you should ask if the roof terrace has been ‘scrubbed’ clean before you commit to the property, and that the barbecue has enough gas before you arrive and not after you arrive. The terrace is the primary reason you’d rent this unit, it is dirty, shabby and in need of a major refurbishment. The hot tub lid and it’s peeling paint, the awning that doesn’t work and is ripped with the supporting arms hanging off look particularly disappointing. As are the lights that don’t really work so you can’t really sit up there at night and the ‘rust’ dribbles that streak down the white painted walls from the two iron decorative wall hangings also make the terrace massively unappealing, the terrace is not storm damaged, it’s just poorly maintained. The night I tried to bbq on the terrace stood in 2 inches of standing rainwater in the dark was my particular favourite.

I will say that Steve -property manager- did his best to improve things as we pointed them out to him ( new gas bottle, clean bed linens and lightbulbs) .... but trying to pin the blame for the condition of the property on hurricane Irma which passed by South Beach four weeks before our arrival was not acceptable. We had been told right after Irma, that she had gone through without damaging the property and that they and Miami were fully open .... to then have un-repaired ‘hurricane damage’ fully visible on our arrival .... was/is very poor for a so called ‘superior’ property.

Location of the property is very good in a very safe and quiet neighbourhood with great restaurants, bars and shopping in easy walking distance, are all solid reasons to rent this property..... but before you do .... get their written guarantee and pictures!! That you are getting what you paid for ... because we didn’t!! BUYER BEWARE!!

Excellent location and layout

My 2 other friends and I stayed here from March 2- March 6. We were very impressed by the space and location. The only issue we had was that the microwave not working, but that was not a big deal since we ate most of our meals out anyways. Steve was notified, so I would imagine it will be resolved for the next guest.

Steve was very nice and always responded immediately with any questions. We will definitely be back here the next time we are in Miami.

Road to 40 NYE South Beach!

I turned 40 NYE and my friends and I stayed at Keith's beautiful condo for 4 days to celebrate. This was my first experience with condo rental and if ever in South Beach again, I would stay here.

COMMUNICATION: Keith's communication was excellent. I reserved the condo 6 or so months in advance. Keith answered all my questions and addressed any concerns throughout those 6 months. I thought I might need an extra night months after I had booked and paid the deposit and Keith was responsive and ready to accommodate my needs. Steve (property manager) was the best, very helpful when we arrived. Gave me and my guest a full tour, shared info about where to go, what to do & joked around with us.

LOCATION: I couldn't ask to be in a better location. We were minutes away from everything. We walked to restaurants, the grocery store, the LIQUOR STORE(s), the beach, the bars, I even walked to chase bank!

CONDO: The condo looked exactly like the pictures. Everything that is mentioned and more is in that condo. There are board games and books (culturally diverse books, lol, good job Steve!). It is spacious and the furnishings and the appliances are what you would expect in an upscale condo. The outdoor bed (oversize lounge) on the rooftop was the best! So super comfortable. We were actually fighting over who would sleep OUTSIDE ...in DECEMBER! We used every inch of that condo. We barbecued and used the outside kitchen, we cooked breakfast in the indoor kitchen. My cousin lives in Miami and came to hang out with us and she parked her car in the garage. The overall condition of the condo is good (there were normal signs of wear and tear one would expect from a property this darn popular).

There were a few minor concerns: the hot tub was not functioning properly (it didn't get hot), a few cosmetic repairs are (were) needed in the master bathroom (do to water damage from the rains) and the outdoor shower was not available (I was bummed because I would have used it if I could :) But my guest did not gripe. We were all happy!

UNSOLICITED ADVICE: travelers bring towels. Towels are provided but it was six of us and not enough face towels (the small ones) to go around. There is a washer and dryer (and we used that too!) Additionally, the entire condo needs to be professionally deep cleaned with professionally grade products.

I had the best 40th b-day trip! I went to Cabo San Lucas two weeks after Miami and stayed in a 4-star resort. Keith's condo was muuuuuch nicer!

We had damage to the roof due to a heavy rain storm right before you arrived, and we couldn't get all the cosmetic repairs done in time. We have plenty of towels and face towels.Steve would brought over more towels had you requested them.We have the house professionally cleaned.We have had many reviews about how clean the house was. I think one of the areas you mentioned about the house needing a deep cleaning is the floors. The floors take alot of wear and tear due to people coming coming in from the beach.We just had the floors sanded, cleaned and polished. All of the cosmetic repairs and issues due to the rain storm have been completed. We appreciate your comments and always strive to give our renters the best experience possible. I am happy to hear that you thought our condo was nicer than a Four Star Resort and that you would stay with us again. Sincerely, Keith
