DETAILED VILLA DESCRIPTION
Indoors: Villa Aragona is spread over three floors with numerous reception rooms decorated with a blend of authentic antique pieces, country-style furniture, an elegantly appointed suite, and al fresco areas. The 17th-century wooden door of this historical villa leads to the entrance hall of the main house. A door to the right leads into the first living area decorated with antique majolica floorings from Vietri, a stone fireplace, a double sofa bed, and country-style furnishings with patio access. Back in the entrance hall, a door to the left leads to the second living area featuring country-style furniture, a sofa bed, and a large window overlooking the Mediterranean garden. A wooden door leads to a fabulous double bedroom with vaulted ceilings and a large window bringing in the light. Another door leads to a rustic living area with access to the patio and garden, featuring a sofa bed, bespoke armchair, and a bathroom with a shower. The living area leads to a rustic kitchen with an antique pizza oven and a glass door with access to the patio and the garden.
First Floor
Heading back to the main entrance, a marble staircase leads to the first floor, opening to a double bedroom with a separate bathroom with a shower and two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower with garden and sea views.
Second Floor
The staircase leads to the second floor with an elegantly furnished master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and views of the olive groves and the Mediterranean garden. To the left is a living area with sea views decorated with two sofas, armchairs, and country-style furniture. To the right is an intimate living area with a comfortable sofa, a fireplace, and access to the terrace. A doorway leads to a warmly decorated dining area, conveniently located next to the kitchen and with access to the terraces. To the left, the fully equipped kitchen with a service bathroom features traditional Italian antique majolica flooring, marbles, and sea views. The interiors open to the villa’s terrace and al fresco area featuring designer lounging sofas and chairs and a dining table with wonderful views of Capri, the islands, and the Gulf of Naples.
Suite
From the main entrance, the courtyard leads to an independent suite decorated with unique rustic charm featuring a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and views of the countryside and the sea. A staircase leads to the floor below with a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, a stone fireplace, and access to the terrace.
Outdoors: Villa Aragona has a main gate entrance leading to an extensive lawned garden, al fresco dining areas, panoramic terraces and private parking. The walkway leads to the Mediterranean garden, wisteria pergolas, and an olive grove and lemon groves. The garden extends to the pool and jacuzzi area, furnished with sun loungers and an expansive lawn where guests can unwind and relax. A shaded patio furnished for lounging and dining and the barbecue area boast unforgettable views of the pool, the countryside, and the Mediterranean Sea.
The Neighborhood:
Situated in the town of Acquara, Villa Aragona offers a charming retreat amidst the captivating landscapes of the Amalfi Coast. Guests can explore the nearby shops, savor culinary delights at charming restaurants and trattorie, and unwind at bars that offer a taste of the area's lively atmosphere. Nerano Bay, renowned for its crystal-clear waters and picturesque coastline, is located just a short distance away, offering opportunities for swimming and seaside relaxation. Additionally, the picturesque town of Positano is located approximately 16 kilometers to the southwest. The historic town of Sorrento is conveniently situated approximately 14 kilometers to the northwest.

Should you intend to use one of our villas or apartments for any type of commercial use, such as photo shooting or filming, please inform Feeling Italy of this at the time of booking. Such use will be allowed with Feeling Italy's written consent. Events, weddings, wedding receptions, or large gatherings on Feeling Italy's properties without written permission are not allowed unless specified in the description. Services provided by external suppliers, such as private chefs, and catering, among others, are not permitted in Feeling Italy properties. In such cases, you will be asked to pay an extra fee for your event or service.
Any wood ovens available on Feeling Italy's properties can solely be used by the professional pizza chefs provided by Feeling Italy. Please contact Feeling Italy to enquire about the cost and availability of this service on the property of your choice.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Standard check-in time is between 3 pm and 10 pm.
In case of flight delays or any unforeseeable inconvenience while traveling, please contact our office or the property contact. Late arrivals are managed for an extra fee.
Check-out time is 10 am.
Early check-in and late arrivals are subject to availability and subject to an extra fee.
TOURIST TAX
Some of the Municipalities where Feeling Italy villas are located apply a local tourist tax. The amount of this tourist tax is calculated according to the number of nights of your reservation. It varies depending on location and must be paid directly by guests before arrival, or on arrival. air cool throughout the year.
You enter the villa on the ground floor. On your right hand side, you will find a cigar room with a double sofa bed, a mobile bar, well stocked with a selection of rums and liqueurs.
On the left there is the first of three living rooms, four steps lead down to one of six double bedrooms. The bathroom offers a small bath, a wash basin, bidet and toilet.
Also on the ground floor is the first of two kitchens and a dining room, where you will find a double sofa bed.
The small kitchen is charmingly equipped with an authentic bread oven – perfect for making pizzas. We are happy to arrange for a Pizzaiolo professional to come to your villa and show you the traditional art of pizza making. Your party can then enjoy a delicious meal, tasting a variety of pizzas made with wonderful local ingredients.
From the kitchen, stairs lead down to a small cellar, where wines and liqueurs are stored. The dining room has access to a seating area outside, with tables, chairs and umbrellas. Just one of many charming places to eat al fresco within the extensive gardens of the property.
The main villa - first floor
Twelve steps take you to the first floor of the villa. Here you will find three double bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms.
From the terrace on the second floor, you can breathe in the timeless view of the Bay of Naples, dotted with the Islands of Capri, Procida and Ischia. It is hard to conceive of a better place to enjoy an aperitif at sunset!
There are two sitting rooms on the second floor, with comfortable sofas and satellite television. Both have panoramic views of the hillsides sweeping down to the blue sea beyond.
The kitchen on the second floor is very well equipped with oven, hob, fridge freezer and the small appliances you would expect. Outside on a small balcony is the washing machine.
There is also a beautiful master bedroom with en suite shower room. With exposed wood beams and breathtaking views through windows on two sides, this is a truly special place to wake up in the morning.
The Annex
Returning to the garden, you can explore the annex, accessed via the olive grove. On the ground floor, there is an open plan living area, with a double sofa bed and kitchenette. The bathroom on this floor offers a shower, wash basin, bidet and toilet. The annex is air conditioned throughout.
Moving upstairs in the annex, there is a double bedroom with wonderful views and an en suite shower room.
The yoga studio is next to the annex. Perfect for yoga, Pilates or meditation, the studio also has an attached bathroom.
Please note that there is also a further separate building, with a private entrance. This is used on occasion by the owner when they are tending to the gardens.
Location
Villa Aragona is within easy reach of Sorrento, and the charming town of Sant’Agata Sui Due Golfi. It is also the perfect base for exploring the many attractions of the Sorrento Peninsula and beyond.
