Esta 5 quartos, 3 casa de banho está lindamente decorado por fora com um tudo exterior pedra, lareira e vários outros trabalhos pedra dentro. Você vai ser agradavelmente surpreendido com o tema natureza de bom gosto da casa que os caras vão apreciar e abundância de toques femininos para agradar as senhoras. A partir do contorno da plataforma você pode desfrutar de uma xícara de café da manhã ou uma refeição à noite, enquanto observa a beleza de seu entorno fora. O garoto em todos nós vai gostar dos rostos misteriosos que olham para baixo em você a partir da colina acima do convés de volta. Agora não me interpretem mal, eu não estou me referindo a Mt. Rushmore. A poucos passos a partir do convés há até mesmo um real velho mina de ouro escavadas na colina de rocha. Esta casa está muito bem equipadas com todos os confortos de casa.

Nós também temos a Gold Stone Lodge, que está muito bem decorado com o tema natureza, bem como com 4 quartos, 2 casas de banho, sala de estar, sala de família, sala de jantar, 2 cozinhas completas, lavanderia, pátio, deck e churrasqueira a gás. Esta casa acomoda até 12 pessoas também

Carefully managed all amenities, near attractions

We have been vacationing for the last 15 years in the Hill City area of the Black Hills in various rental accommodations until 7 years ago when we found the Gold Stone Lodge and then the Gold Mine Lodge, carefully managed by Linda Kraft. We have stayed in one or other each year since and not considered any where else. Both have scenic views with forest behind them (we've often seen deer up close) but both are near a good road and a short drive to Hill City. The wildlife displays inside each Lodge are a special feature in addition to every amenity you could want. Yes ,the Gold mine Lodge really does have a gold mine, safely locked up 10 feet from the back deck !

We would recommend any one coming to this part of the Black hills to consider the Gold Stone Lodge or the Gold Mine lodge first.

A+++ in every respect

Our September 2017 stay was with three other couples, celebrating friendship of 40 years and 201 years of marriage. Our stay was perfect in every way: a large, impeccably clean cabin, fully furnished to the last detail, beautifully decorated, and in a scenic and accessible location. This was no surprise because we have enjoyed large family gatherings there in 2008, 2010, and 2012. Each stay has been great in every repect, and in our September visit we were so Impressed that the cabin shows no “wear and tear” since our first stay ten years ago. The owner, Linda, is very pleasant and accommodating to work with and strives to provide a welcoming and trouble-free visit. In our opinion, visitors cannot go wrong with this choice of accommodations.

Clean, good location

The pros of this property are: This home was in a very good location to visit all the local attractions in the Black Hills. It had the perfect amount of space needed for two families, it was well maintained and was well stocked.

The cons are: There is no wifi at this property and none of our phones with 3 different cell companies could access the internet. In the year 2017, this was a huge inconvenience. Even all travel brochures say to see website for details.

The other inconvenience is that the home owners live very nearby and were very involved in our stay. We were called and left notes chastising us for the smallest little things. We felt like we were being watched. Who wants to spend thousands of dollars and then not feel comfortable? Do not stay here if you have small children our plan to do anything but sit quietly and do nothing. The rules and expectations were too strict for us.

Resposta do proprietário: I am sorry that this customer chose to be offended because we asked that their children not break branches off of our spruce trees. We only knew about this because we stopped by to pick up their trash on July the 4th so the trash bins would not overflow during their 7 night stay. As we were doing this we noticed that the ground under the spruce trees were covered with branches. We raked up a very large trash bin full and disposed of it. Is this what they call being very involved in their stay? We live a ways up the road and we certainly were not watching them as we have too many responsibilities and would never do such as this. Prior to this we had gotten the okay with them to have a new washer and dryer delivered and installed on July 5th. I called that very morning to remind them of the delivery. I was told that was fine. When the delivery people got there much to our surprise the present washer was running with a load of wash and no one was there. In response to writing a bunch of notes, the only note I left was to let them know that I had to to take the load of wash out of the washer as the delivery people could not wait for it to run the whole cycle. When we were there we saw that the ground was littered again with branches from our trees that we disposed of yet again. We strive to keep our property clean and in good condition for all our guests to enjoy. I did call only once after the second time the next morning to let the parents know about the branches as they obviously were not watching what their children were doing at all. The response I got was (I guess the kids could not resist breaking off the branches). Children are always very welcome to our property. Most of our reservations are families with children who are respectful of our property. It is the responsibility of the parents to watch their children, to keep them safe and to not let them do damage when staying in someones house. Is that too much to be expected? This review is intentional misleading. We are not in the business of chastising our customers. It is a shame that some people use this venue to make false statements about a business when we work very hard to please our customers in every possible way. We do not have cell service in this area. It is in the mountains and the house does have a phone. Also this house is only rented in the summer months so it is not very economical to pay for very expensive internet all year long.

Amazing Rental for big families!!

This is a rare 5 bedroom home in the middle of the Black Hills. Only a few miles from Hill City. House is very clean and cozy! Has everything a family needs. Owners are very polite and helpful. Would highly recommend!!!!

"SENIORS"

Great place for a group of "Senior" friends to use as "home" while visiting Black Hills for 9 days. Well stocked house (kitchen, bath towels, laundry). Very clean and everything in working order. Owner was very nice and easy to communicate with. Great location for everything in the Hills. Only drawback (for some) is no wifi. Actually is was good to be "unhooked" for 9 days.
