Ele tem um belo terraço virado a sul, uma luz e uma cozinha bem equipada, uma sala de estar grande e elegante, com sofás confortáveis, internet ou televisão por satélite com 100 canais de TV, TV 40 polegadas, sistema WI-FI. Dispõe de 2 quartos bem decorados e 1 casa de banho.
This is just the place where you can turn up with a small bag of clothes and feel immediately at home. Your holiday will start with a personal welcome from Emma, who although Portuguese speaks impeccable English. Her manner is very welcoming and nothing is any bother, she immediately puts you at ease. The apartment is so well equipped and every detail has been thought of. Everything has been provided to ensure a totally stress free stay. From the softest bath towels ever to a range of help yourself toiletries, from beach towels to beach umbrellas, from needles and thread to hairdryers and shoe polish, from cling film to picnic things, from those I might just need once food items to clothes washing powder. Amazing!
The apartment is very spacious and airy with a wonderful patio, choose sun or shade, accessible from both the kitchen and the lounge area. The furnishings are well chosen to reflect the Portuguese style and are easy to live with.
The bedrooms are bright and airy with the best king size bed I have ever slept on! We have come home with details of the maker! Masses of hanging space for clothes throughout the bedrooms make storage so easy.
The location of this property is ideal, very near the railway station and a supermarket. Food could easily be bought and carried home without being a major expedition. We didn't have a car and the short walk to town just added interest to the activities at the end and beginning of the day.
The local information book compiled by the owner was very comprehensive full of factual information and hints and tips to enhance the stay. The ideas for days out were very realistic including some using the local railway and the bikes stored at the property. They were obviously from someone who knew and enjoyed Tavira and its surroundings.
This must be a property that can be enjoyed all year round. There is so much to do in Tavira itself without going to far a field. We enjoyed the boat trip to the beach and the relaxed family atmosphere in the town of an evening. Plenty of places to wander or just sit and watch.
I would thoroughly recommend this apartment.
Two of us stayed here for a fortnight. Beautifully equipped apartment. Two large bedrooms. Plenty of space for a group or family. Just like home, everything is exactly as you would want it. The local management agency the owner uses are very friendly and helpful, our contact person was fully bi-lingual English/Portuguese and couldn't be more helpful.
This modern apartment is in a quiet location above the castle and the churches. As long as you don't mind a hill it is an easy, pretty, quiet and safe walk in and out of the town centre at any time of day or night. It is not very far from the railway station and Lidle for convenient transport and shopping. Free parking on the road if you hire a car.
Tavira is a lovely relatively unspoilt holiday town. Locals and visitors seem to blend together in a happy community atmosphere. In high summer there is a programme of free public entertainment every night down by the riverside (usually starting at 10.00pm when it cools down a bit). Lots of places to eat out in the town centre. The huge sandy beach is on a massive sand spit beyond the salt marshes. Everyone catches the passenger ferry from the town centre out to the beach. It's cheap, efficient and all part of the holiday fun, and the salt marshes are interesting for birds and other wildlife. You can stay all day at the beach if you want to, there are bars and restaurants and toilets, or just walk a bit further and get away from it all, or walk even further and get into a casual nudist zone, or walk even further for mile after mile along the sandy water's edge.
I stayed in this apartment with my sisters and thoroughly appreciated the close walking distance from the apartment into the town, the walk from the apartment into the town is through pretty cobble streets.
The apartment is large and bright and very well equipped and has a lovely large sunny terrace.
When we stayed there in October the weather was very warm and sunny and we enjoyed a lovely walk along the beach (just a short bus ride away), visiting the local food market, shopping in the unusual little town shops and eating out in the local restaurants.
I would thoroughly recommend this large, bright, clean well equipped apartment (with very comfy beds) that is within easy walking distance of the town centre, and also has a lovely spacious and sunny terrace.
We spent a week in this lovely apartment. We found it very clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The large kitchen, opening onto the patio, had everything you could possibly need for preparing and serving meals, as well as washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer. The beds and furnishings were very comfortable, with a large dining room table. We felt very at home in the apartment, and enjoyed spending time there. The outdoor furniture was very comfortable, and we enjoyed coffee, and wine later in the day, whilst relaxing in the sun. There is a large supermarket within five minutes walk, and the apartment owners had even provided a shopping trolley which we made full use of. We didn't have a car, but the town itself is reached easily with a short and delightful walk through quiet and picturesque streets and a church square. There seemed to be plenty of parking around the apartment. The owners had provided a wealth of local information which proved very useful, including bus and train timetables, and plenty of ideas for days out and local attractions. Tavira Is a lovely and very appealing town, which welcomes visitors but still manages to retain its local character and charm, and with a good selection of restaurants within easy reach of the apartment you may have to make an effort to eat at home sometimes, with all the local fresh produce available!
The weather in mid-September was perfect for us, still hot, but comfortable, and remaining nicely warm even into late evening, when we would do a slow meandering walk back from the restaurant soaking up the relaxed atmosphere and live music which seems to centre around the Roman bridge.
We look forward to returning to this apartment, and would highly recommend it for couples, and families.
Three of us (all ladies) stayed at Casa Oscar in October. The weather was brilliant, so we began each day with breakfast on the spacious terrace, having had a good night’s sleep on very comfortable beds. The apartment was spotlessly clean and much larger than I had expected, with a large entrance hall and good sized bedrooms. It was very well equipped – no problem if you want to stay in and cook some fresh fish from the local market, or just enjoy drinks and nibbles on the terrace.
The location couldn’t be better – just a five minute walk along pretty cobbled streets to the town centre and restaurants. We were spoiled for choice when it came to eating out. We consumed rather a lot of the local custard tarts and ice-cream (definitely recommended!), and I had the best steak I’ve had in a long while.
We didn’t have a car, but we could see that there was plenty of parking available, as the apartment is located in a quiet residential area. I would certainly recommend this apartment to friends and family.
Tavira é a mais bela e romântica cidade no Algarve. O apartamento é muito perto do centro histórico, perto do castelo, que tem vista para a cidade e da estação ferroviária. Tavira é famosa por seus edifícios em tons pastel, igrejas antigas e encantadora ponte romana que atravessa o rio Gilão, que corta a cidade e reflete a bela arquitetura. Em ambos os lados do rio, bem como nas ruas de paralelepípedos de volta por trás dele são dezenas de pastelarias, bares e restaurantes especializados em frutos do mar pescados no local. A longa praia de 14 quilômetros pode ser alcançado a pé ou de ônibus / barco da cidade
A deslumbrante praia da Ilha de Tavira é de cerca de um quilômetro da cidade, atingido por um passeio de ferry 5 min tem bares e restaurantes, mas é tão longa que é nunca estar lotados. Com praias de frente para o interior, bem como de frente para o oceano, pode desfrutar de águas calmas ou ondas grandes. Cidades como Santa Luzia, Cabanas e Fuzeta próximas valem bem a pena uma visita. A fronteira com Espanha é de cerca de meia hora de carro de distância, como são as montanhas atrás de Tavira
