Castelo do XVIII com belo parque e piscina

Chateau Isle sur Marne is a gracious home. It proved itself as a grand host for five couples who were here for a week in October, 2018. Along with my husband we arranged the details with our hosts and they were easy and prompt in all communications. The directions to the chateau were also easy- but on our part with a GPS and jet lag,so frustrating at first, and so simple on the end

10 of us stayed here. It was private, very clean, and plumbing, electric worked fine. WIFI was excellent. Rooms and even bathrooms large. Beds comfortable. Decor fits.

Kitchen is well equipped. Common areas pleasant. The grounds and ambience are hard to distinctly describe, perhaps “evocative” is the best word. One can wander and so enjoy the park-like setting.

At the suggestion of our hosts we were in communication with the excellent chef who lives close by and we pre arranged for 2 delicious dinners. On our last night together all of us went to his restaurant for dinner, and once again we were not disappointed.

The pictures provided regarding the chateau are accurate but again all is MUCH better and lovelier in person. We used the chateau as a base for WWI homage and study. We spent some other enjoyable time at several champagne houses and explored nearby cities

I rate this 5 stars. I would rate it 5.5 had there been a small welcome basket of coffees and teas, bread and jam. Aside from no tissues and lack of soap and hair dyers all was excellent.

Do not hesitate to book. Study your maps before you arrive and take travel care package.

Can't explain how beautiful the property is

- one of the few places that actually looks like the photos! Stunning house with tasteful decor, large bedrooms and beautiful grounds. Will cherish the memories we have made during our time. Thank you Stephane & Martine, you've been fabulous hosts and thank you for being so responsive to our requests.

From 8 to almost 80, 10 family members stayed for a week at the beautiful Chateau. The weather was so hot that we did not venture far, used the pool, bbq and cycled and walked in the grounds. We saw deer in the morning and hare and herons galore. The only noise was from the frogs in the moat. Peaceful and secluded but in a lovely area, the birdwatcher was not only impressed with the grounds but the nearness of the lakes. Fantastic, we'd love to go back again.

Séjour très agréable dans un cadre exceptionnel !! La demeure est comme sur les photos voire encore plus belle et les propriétaires sont à la fois très sympathiques et arrangeants.

We had a lovely holiday at Chateau Isle sur Marne. It's a very relaxing and picturesque place to stay. The heated swimming pool is perfect for the kids in the evening, and there is plenty to explore in the nearby lake and villages.
