You will be welcomed to our cabin thru the screened in porch, there is seating to enjoy a outside dinner or just behold the beauty that is amidst you. We are a dog friendly family-our dogs do come to the cabin with us-you will see dog hair-if your not a animal friendly person our cabin may not be the best place for your stay.
You will then enter into the cabin to the great room a place where everyone can relax and the memories begin! There is a huge lazy boy sectional sofa that offers a spectacular view out of the A frame windows where you could see deer, turkey, squirrel and multiple types of birds at play. You can watch the smart TV. We are also WIFI friendly.
Master suite 1 is the loft bedroom. 1 Queen size bed, 32inch smart tv with Roku and the balcony over looks the great room. Numerous windows.
Master suite room 2 is the main floor bedroom. 1 Queen size bed, 32inch smart tv with Roku. Numerous windows.
The bathroom is on the main floor and offers a tub and shower combination.
The washer and dryer are on the main floor as well.
We offer a well equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook. It comes with: pots and pans, platters and bowls, serving and utensils for 4, oven/stove, microwave, refrigerator,Keurig, Margaritaville Machine, mixer, Gas grill (on deck) and all other items needed to prepare any meal.
The dining table is off from the kitchen and seats 6.
The Captains Cabin offer’s a beautiful deck with plenty of seating to enjoy morning coffee in the sun. There is also a gas grill for your grilling fun as well. We also have a propane gas column which is perfect for roasting marshmallows and making s’mores or just sitting by the fire to stargaze at night.
Our hope is that you enjoy the private, spacious Captains Cabin and easily experience all the great things the Woods Resort has to offer.
Bring along your canoe/kayak/tube and fishing pole
The Clubhouse Grille is located nearby at the Golf Clubhouse
The Sleepy Creek Spa and Salon is a great place to indulge and pamper yourself.

Wonderful location for the fall

I really enjoyed my time at this cozy cabin for the weekend at the end of October. I could not have asked for better views both in the surrounding area and right outside of the massive steepled windows in the living room as the trees changed colors. Very accessible to some spectacular hiking trails I could see coming back to this location with some friends or family in the future. While the warnings that the owners have dogs and bring them to the cabin are warranted for those that have allergies, do not be put off by the notice if you yourself own dogs. There was not a lot of fur anywhere in the house. I am certain far less than what is in your own home.

Peaceful place

When we arrived, I couldn't get into my VRBO account to see the lick code. It took over a half hour before it finally opened. Other than that it was a very nice cabin. Was fully equipped with all your needs. Nice location. 🙂

Peaceful retreat

Perfect place to relax with all the amenities you need. The loose leaf book with the area attractions was very useful.

Hi. I grew up in a small town and that is where I meet my husband we bought our home in Williamsport Maryland and are parents of our animal kingdom which includes a couple cats and lab dogs and we all love to hike.

When we were looking for a vacation home our first words to our realtor was we need great hiking, near water and far but not to far! When we first pulled into our Cabin it was love at first site for me——my hubby saw a lot of work and it was! Our first year was spent completely remodeling it! We took down walls, tore up floors, repainted the entire cabin—including the 50 foot ceiling in the great room, hung new light fixtures, bought all new furnishings. Looking back it was just a piece of our amazing journey of our love for the Woods Resort. We are eager to share it with you! We still have projects outside which are never ending but the cabin is “home” now

The tranquility and peaceful feeling on the screened porch is like no other! That’s the nap zone! And the A framed great room I can just sit for hours and watch out the window especially when the snow is falling and the fire is crackling! The deck well that where friends become family!
