Exceeded Expectations
We party of 6 (seniors age 67-75) stayed here for 11 days March 2024.
The views were beyond description.
It was quiet. It was private.
The kitchen had all required necessities (and EVERYTHING WORKED & was easy to use).
The location was central and we explored and went to different beaches and beach clubs almost everyday (a few days we just stayed at the villa, used the pool and enjoyed the view.
The AC in the bedrooms worked great.
We used the gas BBQ.
We hired a private chef one night who came in and cooked for us.
It was easy to buy groceries and we cooked and ate in several nights and ate out the other nights (lots of options).
The islanders were VERY friendly.
The villa has an on sight, full time caretaker.....(& she's the real "jewel").
The beds were comfortable, the showers were easy to use and the water temp was easy to control.
We never watched the TV, or used the stereo system. The living room furniture was plentiful and comfortable.
We NEVER felt unsafe anywhere on the island (and the Villa is in a gated community to boot).
If I visited Sint Maarten again I would stay at the JEWEL again.
The owners communications were timely and informative.
The dining room table seated 8, and there was an outdoor table too.
