Julie and Rich are wonderful hosts and their cabin is second to none. Staying at this cabin allows you to enjoy its seclusion while being just a short drive from the quaint town of Hanna, where you’ll meet some of the nicest people around. Highly recommended.
Awesome spot for a family get together
Great views , good access to outdoor fun, big kitchen that well equipped to feed big groups. Good comfortable spot to relax or as a luxury base camp to have fun in the mountains.
We’ll probably be back.
Thank you Donnie! We hope you and your family do come back!
It was a wonderful cabin in a great location with lots to do around it. We really enjoyed the swimming hole.
We loved our stay!
We had the best trip in this beautiful cabin! It was perfect for our family reunion. Plenty of comfortable beds and places to hang out. We loved playing games and preparing food in the large kitchen. The river and zip line were so much fun. This property is gorgeous and loved. We hope to stay again in the future.
Great Get Away!
We had our family stay here for a few days. This place was fabulous! There were plenty of things for us to do close by and a a trip to the lake wasn't to far away. We laughed, we hiked, we ate s'mores and had the best time. Thank you for helping us make some great memeories!
We had so much fun! The cabin was new and gorgeous. Everything was provided (kitchen supplies, bathroom and laundry supplies, firewood and roasting sticks, etc.). Loved the balcony space. We sat on the top balcony and watched the hummingbirds eat from the feeders while drinking hot chocolate. Tons of movies, games and puzzles for inside activities if rainy.
There was also a wall with a map and pictures of nearby activities. Very helpful! We ended up doing the hike to the waterfall that started right outside the back door. We had 14 of us ranging from ages 9 to 50. It was a moderate hike. The youngest 2 had to slide on their bum a few times because it was steep. (And the older had to take a few breaks to rest). The waterfall was worth it though.
The secret swimming hole was amazing!!! It was 1/2 mile down the road so if you are carrying chairs and tubes you have to drive to it. When you hike down the hill, go right. We weren’t sure what direction to go at first and took a detour the first day. The zip line was fun. Just be careful to make sure the pulley on top isn’t flipped upside down. A couple kiddos didn’t notice this and went down while it was flipped and landed in the rocks/shallow water and were injured. Once we realized this, we didn’t have any more problems, but we did have to find a long stick and flip it several times while using it. The big rock to jump off of was great. Water was about 7 feet deep so bring a life jacket for the younger ones who can’t swim well. This was a highlight of our stay. It was private and the kids floated in tubes along the river. So much fun!!
There was a little construction right before the cabin, but it didn’t bother or interrupt our activities or stay at all.
Overall gorgeous cabin (the pictures don’t do it justice) and great time!!!
